Anwenk Heavy Duty Nutcracker Pecan Walnut Plier Opener Tool with Wood Handle

This little guy is amazing! Pecans are a snap to crack open. 95%+ of the time, they crack in such a way that I can peel them open without hurting my nails, or the yummy nut inside. It works equally well on walnuts as well as hazelnuts. I had to use my old nutcracker on the almonds, but that makes perfect sense, given that this amazing nutcracker is cylindrical in shape; almonds just don’t lend themselves well to this awesome nutcracker. It’s quite sturdy, too. Definitely recommended. UPDATE: Works on almonds well, too! I just needed time to figure it out. :) This is such a great tool. It gets at the yummy nuts without destroying them in the process.

I was looking for a sturdy nutcracker that wouldn't bend or break with the first walnut, and this one definitely delivers. Build Quality: It feels very solid ("Heavy Duty" is the perfect description) and doesn't flex at all under pressure Ergonomics: The non-slip handles provide a great grip, making it easy to use without needing a lot of hand strength Design: Thanks to the two different sized openings, it handles everything from large walnuts to smaller hazelnuts perfectly without them slipping out (you can see this in my video) The leverage is so good that you don't need much force. It’s also quite stylish for a kitchen tool!

I have several big pecan trees in my back yard. This year they put out more pecans than I've ever seen. I was using a hammer to crack them but decided to try this tool. It's seriously very easy to use! I just put the pecan in and squeeze the handle once to crack it, then flip it over and crack the other end once (or twice). I'd say about 90% of the pecans stay intact (whole). My pecans are not getting destroyed and I'm able to shell about 1 or 2 lbs in an hour. I'll just sit here with a little trash can for the shells and crack away while watching a movie or something. I ordered a second one so someone can help me but it doesn't open wide like the first one does. It's not as 'springy'. Still works, I just favor the first one. Also I've noticed it works way better on larger pecans. I was able to make several pecan pies for Thanksgiving and also use tons of pecans in a pumpkin cake I made. Cookies are next. Definitely happy with this tool.

This was a great tool to crack open a bag of macadamia nuts. The only thing I didn't like is that occasionally, the spring falls out. Other than that, it works very well on cracking nuts open! I was pleasantly surprised and for this price point, I was very satisfied. Definitely worth keeping if you crack fresh nuts from time to time.

Updated review. I originally gave 1 star because i couldn't crack open any walnuts. Turns out a return to the nut shop and a new batch easily opened walnuts with this nutcracker. I was offered and given a refund from Amazon which I was just able to reverse. Turns out with 2 tries most walnuts opened. This is beautifully made.

Not good for macadamia nuts lasted a few days before breaking. Works well for other types of nuts though

Very impressed with this hand held nut cracker! It fits in your hand nicely, and w/o a lot of pressure cracks pecans nicely. The majority of my 5 lb. bag came out in halves which was great! I definitely recommend it, glad I bought it at a reasonable price, and would buy it again!

I have a huge walnut tree and CRACKING them was a hassle. This tool works amazing. Easy to use and keeps the walnut meat intact.

Oltre ad un design che personalmente ho amato già appena visto, è veramente comodo e facile da utilizzare, mai avuto problemi a schiacciare noci e nocciole, ottima ergonomia dell impugnatura. Unica pecca è che se avete delle noci giganti, non ci entrano quindi non è pratico se volete rompere i maroni alla direzione.
