Can’t really cope with large/heavy tablets
Disappointing- the ball and socket attachment seems a bit loose and the weight of my tablet makes it spin and sag down. This part can’t be tightened, so it takes constant adjusting and fiddling to get it to hold the tablet. I only bought this product because it was white, and much prefer my Ugreen tablet holder which is far superior.

One of the best in this price range
I use mine with a 12.4" Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+. Note, the tablet will wobble a lot if you touch it. However, if the arm is attached to something solid and you use a seperate keyboard and mouse, or you only view and don't touch, then it is perfectly stable. If you want to write on the tablet while it is on the stand, you'll almost certainly want to support it with one hand while writing with the other. I don't think there is any way around this without making each component of the stand significantly sturdier, and that would significantly increase cost, weight and size. So I think this is an acceptable balance. The arm length is great with a lot of adjustability. I can mount mine to a bedside table and have the tablet at the perfect height and directly in my centre line. I looked at a more expensive holder, but the arms were a lot shorter (I presume to combat the wobbling problem) but this meant they were too short to centre the device while in bed.The wing nuts can easily be moved from left to right, so the unit can be mounted left or right of you. This means the back of the tablet won't foul the end wing nut. There is a sheet of paper in the box saying the unit is a new design with solid arms, designed to combat some of the negative reviews where the end piece cannot be tigntened enough and sags over time. I do not feel that any of the adjustable points cannot be tightened enough, and it seems I would be able to apply quite a lot of tightening force if needed. The main attachement bracket is a large, thick piece of solid metal with a right angle. This means the bracket can be clamped to something like the edge of a drawer of a bedside table to prevent the bracket rotating. One of the problems I found with other brackets (especially the UGreen model with the 75mm clamp) is no matter how tight I made the clamp, when the arm is extended enough to bring the tablet to my centre-line while in bed, the weight would cause the clamp to rotate. This clamp design, although perhaps not so attractive, means I can use the right angle to create a solid attachment that doesn't rotate. The arm is screwed to the clamp making a solid fixture. This is a good feature; other brackets (the UGreen model) just slot in using friction. I've seen some pictures where the clamp is mounted overhead to a bed headboard - I certainly wouldn't want to do that unless the arm was securely screwed to the clamp! The top bar is hollow and there are rounded plastic inserts designed to accommodate a cable. Unfortunately, a USB-C cable is too large to be fed through, but if you can make your own custom cable then you could have some neat wire routing.Overall I am happy with this device for the price. It does the job; offers enough adjustment and is sturdy enough for my use case.

Perfect for iPad Pro 12.9"
I have tried a few of the gooseneck type arms to hold a 12.9" iPad Pro, and none of them have come up to scratch. they either sag over time, or they just wobble far too much as soon as you touch the screen. This is perfect for the job. It has a very robust metal clamp, with friction pads on all sides which attach very well - even to surfaces other clamps have struggled with. All points of articulation are able to be locked in place with thumbscrews, and it has a very minimal wobble when touching the screen. My only complaint is that other arms I have used have some kind of pull mechanism - often string - on the section that actually clamps the screen, in order to make it easier to pull apart. When attempting to clamp a large tablet without this, it is a little bit unwieldy and tricky to get it in. Minor complaint though.

Suits What I wanted
I wanted to hang this off a garage roof beam so i can use it for a tablet while on a cross trainer. For that purpose it does work. If I had a criticism is that it doesn't stay where I want it too exactly, I ended up moving it at the base across the garage beams to get it in exactly the right spot. It would have been better if I could have adjusted the joint stiffness, but you don't seem to be able to.Still does the job and i have been very pleased.Click 'helpful' if i have been so!

Excellent addition to office desk
Easy to clamp onto my office desk. Can twist phone if needed pullover to work when needed push out of the way when not required in work area. Will be buying another one for the other side of my desk for iPad. Take care with phone cases, if not flat at to and bottom will make it more difficult to fit.I would love if they would make this with a shelf so that I could put a land line phone on it and move into or out of the working envelope when required.

Perfect for my 2021 iPad Pro 12.9’ and everything in between, It’s just what I expected.
Very Well Designed Swing Arm Tablet Holder. The metal fixture fitted to my headboard, that is next to the bedroom wall with a very little gap. The Chuck that’s attached to the folding arm is great for minutely adjustable to get the viewing angle perfect. The rotating shell has been made for quick and easy left or right movement to get up and out of bed, so it will probably save the wear and tear on the folding arm. Highly Recommended

The quality of it is better than its competitors, but not its appearance and stability.
Firstly, the base of this is wobby. Consequently, usage of this is not pleasant. Secondly, longitudinal movement is not possible for all but its base.Thirdly, its springs are comprised of plastic, and the screws of the white version of it – unlike its black counterpart – are not white also, but rather, covered by chromium. However, its base is comprised of one cut section of solid metal, and the rest of it, although weak, is also comprised of metal.
