I love this Kava Kava. I am 67 and have struggled with mild depression and sleeplessness for years. I was prescribed some medication but only used it for 2 days. It had undesirable side effects. Great option, works well by helping me relax at night

I have taken Kava Kava to reduce my stress levels for a long time. It just helps! I recently tried Double Wood Supplements Kava Kava and found that it REALLY HELPS me relax and enjoy my life more. I was surprised to put it together with the fact that I have been sleeping much better and for longer periods of time. I had been sleeping in two hour increments but now find myself sleeping 5 hours at a stretch! No wonder I’m less stressed!! I originally purchased the kava kava capsules in an effort to reduce my daily anxiety from work. I will say that I don't typically feel much effect from them on a daily basis. I do think my anxiety has decreased overall, but that may also be due to my addition of other supplements (magnesium, D3, etc.) to my morning routine. Even though I don't directly feel the effects, I have really appreciated that it has enhanced my experience with kava overall. I will drink kava on occasion (maybe once a week) to relax. I like it as an alternative to alcohol. In the past, I had not had much of an effect from it, however, after I started taking the daily capsules, I really notice the effect. I'm not sure, but I assume that this is happening because of the reverse tolerance that's associated with kava. The combination of the capsules and drinking kava has helped me to relax and decrease my alcohol intake.

I've been taking kava in many forms (liquid, rough root, powders, extracts, etc etc all forms) for two decades. This version is cut garbage. Any effect you think you feel is 70% placebo. I've gotten other products from this brand I'm satisfied with but this one is trash. A simple crunch on the capsule will tell you that. Good kava (even extracts) should have a string peppery flavor and make you very numb. This one tastes like chalk with the most miniscule numbness. If you don't believe me, test it yourself. DO NOT PURCHASE. TRUST ME. IT'S NO GOOD.

I am very experienced with kava, and use it everyday. I prefer the real medium grind kava, prepared the traditional way as a drink. Products like this are not the traditional way of consuming kava, and while you can get some of the effects, it is far from the full experience. I wanted to try this because the price was low. If you do the math, they have 1000mg of extract that contains 3-5% kavalactones per serving, which means that in order to get the same kavalactones of a traditional serving of kava drink (300mg) you need to take about 7.5 servings, or 15 capsules. The first couple times I did, I got a good effect. But on subsequent days, I did not get much of an effect even from 15 capsules taken at once. When I did get an effect, it was very short-lived compared to real kava drink. You never know with products like this what the kavalactone profile is. Maybe some kavalatones get ruined in the extraction process. There are six main kavalactones, and products like this do not feel like the full spectrum of kava That said, I did not experience any negative side effects, unlike other extracts I have tried. I might get this again and take a few along with traditional kava to boost it, but on its own it is just mediocre.

have to say, I’ve had kava at a kava bar in Kona and after that I knew I had to recreate that relaxation and feeling of no stress. I can say these are dosed just right to relief stress and finally get to relaxing. Add in some meditation and OMG you’re in a other world. Haha. After being laid off during the pandemic, falling in love and her passing from cardiomyopathy complications, I felt lost and couldn’t relax anymore. Add in that I was the caretaker for my grandfather and he JUST passed; I’m still unemployed, unemployment checks stopped and I’m struggling the worst I ever have in my life BUT I’m also the happiest I’ve ever been focusing on my mental and physical health. With these I can finally not feel so lost in the world and anxious and generally just stressed. Thank you for these amazing potent little guys and giving me back a portion of my life I can control.

I use Kava Kava Extract to help with anxiety. The beginning of the school year for me brings upset stomach, throwing up, and diarrhea and tears. I am the teacher so I really need to get it together. These capsules work, they take the symptoms away without any side effects. I usually only need them for about two weeks and then again when evaluations come around.
