Yes, it is a leave in conditioner. It can be used on wet or dry hair, but I prefer to use it on wet hair, right after washing my hair as it spreads more evenly and leaves my hair nicer.

Would you prefer this product over morroccan oil?

It would differ on the person but I've heard that more people prefer the Argan Hair Essence.
