Perfect under dresses
Super happy with the length and comfort of these. They will be perfect underneath summer dresses. I am 5'6" 120lbs and the small fits perfect. The come to about 4-5" above my knee. But could be made shorter if need-be. I took a picture in the white pair with charcoal colored underwear to show how see-thru they are.

YAAAAAS!!!!!!! My size 16 thighs approve.
It's almost like the heavens have shone down upon my chafing thighs. It feels like Jesus himself wrapped my chub rub in a gentle thin fabric of comfortable delight. But really. I've never been able to wear skirts or dresses in the summer, because I just can't stand the pain and irritation of my legs rubbing together. I've tried using things like baby powder and body glide, but ultimately this is the only thing that has worked for me. The elastic doesn't dig into my apple shaped body- which is a huge deal to this mama of 5. I will def buy this again.

Sexy AND Triple X?
First of all, they do seem to be more shorts than underwear. The label on the package says Yoga - Workout Shorts with an MSRP of $45 for the three-pack. There’s nothing sexy about them —unless you think red is sexy. (But it probably says “sexy” on the other colors.) I’ll just put it down to an over-exuberant copy writer. They’re certainly not likely to increase the sex appeal of chubby women!I’m looking for non-chafing undies to wear under my fantastic Macabi travel skirts. These are fine for the long skirts but probably a bit too long (I’m under 5’ and they come to about 2” above my knees) for the knee-length skirt. And that’s why I chose red. Thinking they’ll be cooler if they peek out. But they won’t be cooler in temperature although 95% cotton and 5% spandex seems to be a pretty a good combination. They’re not sheer but are definitely much lighter weight, say, than cotton knit shorts or even most capri-length, knit, exercise pants. (Made in Bangladesh).I was going to order XXL based on the “happy size 16 thighs” review, but with a way too tight XL from another brand lying around, I decided to play it safe and order the XXXL. The package came with two XXL and one XXXL!! Held up together they appear to be the same size. And there is no noticeable difference in tightness when I tried them on. What can I tell you? The quality seems OK but who knows how long they will last. Having 3 pairs will stretch out their longevity. (Ha! An unintended pun there)They do stretch so that undies would probably be visible but would work out fine as gym (or whatever) shorts if you wear a long T-shirt that covers your butt and the top of your thighs (or just use pantiliners). The shade is a nice, bright orangie red as opposed to cherry red (more warm than cool red). I certainly would be willing to order the other color options tho I’ll keep looking for a slightly shorter length (too hard to cut and sew stretchy knit fabric). Price was good.Update: I grabbed a pair and lo and behold: they DID feel a bit loose and they WERE the 3XL. Sooo. If you’re closer to size 18 than 16 get the 3XL. I think a size 20 gal would be OK with them as well.

Some points . . .
I like the shorts. A lot of people have commented that they are 'sheer' or see-thru. They are slightly, but not that much. They are very thin material.I ordered XL which turned out to be too small for me. They were just too tight in the waist & leg band. They fit me like a medium. I'm 5-3, 215lbs - I'm muscular, not flabby except in belly . . . some of y'all know how it is with us older gals.As for being 'sexy' I don't think these are particularly sexy. Maybe 'sexy' is the new 'practical'? LolI'd say, compared to XL items you normally buy, that these particular shorts run small. Go for the next size or two up.Meanwhile, I just ordered XXXL. Cause I want them to 'fit' not too tight - not too loose but just right. Think 'Goldy-locks'.I'll letcha know how they are.Thumbs up Gals for this:I wish SOMEONE would just make us some long-leg jock-shorts EXACTLY like the men's without the hole in the front!

Better quality than expected for its purpose
Since I don't like chub rub, I determined that "slip shorts" would be the perfect replacement for my good olde-fashioned panties (I just vomited a little writing that word). The good:The material used for this product is 95% cotton and 5% spandex and is much thicker than some that I've purchased in the past; in fact, the reason why I bought this particular product was to see if it was of better quality than my prior purchase that, literally, fell apart with the first use. They didn't disappoint. The elastic is sewn as to where it is inside the fabric instead of being sewn to the product. This is a plus so that the elastic is less likely to irritate the skin. The bad:Size quality control seems to be an issue with this product. One pair was perfect for the size and then the second was tighter but still wearable. I know this is caused by having numerous stacks of fabric placed on top of each other before being cut causing the sizing to either be larger or smaller depending on where it is in the stack's cutting process. It would seem that they need to lessen the number of layers to avoid such an issue in the future. The second issue is how they have stitched together the diamond shaped crotch area that, for a woman, could be an issue if they need to place a feminine hygiene product in their underwear (if they are using this product as strictly **ahem** panties (barf)).Summary:I like them and would recommend them until something else is made, with the crotch gusset being addressed. They are made with quality fabric and other than the sizing being off from one pair to another it's worth a try. Thanks for taking the time to read my review :-)

Maybe it's a result of my own mistake but one ...
Maybe it's a result of my own mistake but one side shrunk more than the other side in the wash.

Disappointed
These shorts are quite thick, well made, true to size and were very comfortable when I put them on so initially I was impressed. Unfortunately, I bought them for 'chub rub' - to prevent thigh chafing - and they were no good for this. When I sat down the first time, one of the legs rode right up. When I set off again, the hem seam on the other leg then badly chafed my thigh causing a sore rash. I also had a visible ridge where the ridden up leg was rolled under my dress. By the end of my trip out (2 hours), both legs had ridden up. my thighs were chafing and I had a bizarre VPL.

You get what you pay for - and these are cheap. But okay. Ish.
First up, they should rename these. There's nothing remotely sexy about the fabric - apparently they're just cotton and elastane but I'd have put my money on something more synthetic; it's like something from the 70s. But I didn't buy them for sexy times, I bought them to stop my legs rubbing together and they do that. The size and shape is peculiar though - I'm 5'11 so would expect them to come up a bit shorter on me but the legs are so long I've had to fold them over to prevent them being visible under my skirt. Other reviewers reckon they comfortably come up to the waist - they sort of do, at the front, with a little tugging, but seriously, who wants their pants pulled right up their bits? The waistband is like something from a pair of leggings - folded, rather than the more seem-less appearance on the photos - and a warning to anyone planning on wearing these instead of knickers: there's no gusset.

No more chub rub :)
Brilliant product! Always had thighs that rubbed despite being slim. These shorts are lovely and light weight, extremely comfortable and don’t leave a noticeable bulge where they stop at the leg. At last I can wear skirts and dresses!

Lovely and soft, a good length, but they do ride up
When I first tried these on, I thought they would be perfect. They are super-soft, and just the right length (I wanted these to prevent chaffing when wearing a dress), however when I wear these, they are comfortable, however they do ride up really easily if walking any distance, so for me, they don't always stop my legs from chaffing I'm afraid.

Dream come true!
They are super comfortable, soft and do what I bought them for - stopping the thigh chafe! Very happy with them, I've worn more skirts and dresses comfortably with them, which is especially great in this heatwave. They are a little bit see-through (the white ones), but if you're wearing them under skirts, that's not really a problem.
