Dickies Girls' Short Sleeve Pique Polo Shirt

You can't go wrong with a white polo shirt. I purchased this for my daughter to wear for Girl Scouts and it's perfect. I like that it is fitted for a girl and not just a loose fitting polo. It's not too tight, just right actually. I also like that it's the perfect length - long enough to be tucked in if needed but not so long that it's baggy or sloppy looking. Also, the sleeves are fitted and shorter than a regular polo and that helps give it that "girly" look. The shirt washed very well and I didn't notice any shrinkage. I've bleached it a few times just because I bleach all of my whites and it's held up beautifully. I'll definitely be purchasing this shirt again! Also, for the price you really can't beat this deal. Great cute comfortable shirt!

These shirts were purchased to be embroidered and used as a school-mandated uniform. The school has their own suppliers who offer lower quality products at expensive prices.Pros: Tagless Design, Fade Resistant, Shrink Resistant, Bright Red - not Brick, DurableCons: NoneI've always relied on Dickies shirts because their colour red, is actually red. Not soft-red it almost looks pink, or dark red it almost looks maroon. I gave these shirts a 5-star rating because they last the whole school year, and longer. With other shirts, particularly the one's the school suppliers offer, they start fading, the clothes begin to wear and rip, they shrink in the dryer and by the end of the first semester it's time to purchase new shirts again. Not with these shirts. Having worn the same brand shirts as part of my own uniform, I only had to purchase two sets. One my first year of high school, and one my third year. (I out-grew my original ones.) These shirts were washed regularly and faced their own mistreatment of having outdoor activities in the hot April, May, and June months in Texas. The best part about these shirts is that they don't retain smells or shrink in the dryer!

I bought this for my daughter as she wears a uniform for school. She really likes it but it does run small. So I definitely suggest getting one size bigger, that's what I did and it fits her perfect. The material is pretty good, a little stiff though. AllIn all great uniform polo.

These are perfect school uniform tops. They are durable, never need to be ironed, hold their color well and best of all have a nice feminine fit without being too snug or too short. We have paid a lot more for other polos that were just awful. These are the best and the best value for the money!

I love this shirt, very nice quality and not weird and boxy shaped like some other of these type of shirts. I did listen to other reviewers and bought it a size up. I got a size S (7/8) for my 5 year old daughter and it fits her very well with room to grow, which I prefer.

This shirt was selected by our favorite 8-yr.-old, who wanted a red top to match a new skirt. The color turned out to match the image; so, it was exactly the right choice.As mentioned in other purchasers' comments, the manufacturer's sizing for this item runs a bit smaller than typical; so, we followed the advice of other reviewers and went with the larger one (marked medium/10-12). That turned out to be the right fit for the girl who usually wears a size 8.The top actually matches the photo image, and fabric & construction appear to be of good quality and durability.We're very well satisfied with the purchase and quick, cordial service from the vendor.

The 3 star is only for the fit of the shirt. I bought this shirt for my 10 year old daughter to wear with a 50's poodle skirt - both are for a school talet show. When I got the shirt, I knew right away it will be a fine line as to whether it fits or not. My daughter tried it on and it will work for the costume. But I wont have her wear it otherwise. It runs small. My daughter is a true size 14. She's a dancing bean pole (ballet dancer). If she wasn't in the shape she is, the shirt would not have worked for me. It'll work for the costume. The price I paid for it is worth it to have her wear it a few times for her performances. The seller got the shirt to me really quickly. I was surprised at how fast it arrived from the time I ordered it and then received it. I appreciated it.

My daughter is 6 but has broad shoulders and is tall. I ordered the small and it fits great, has a little room to grow, and looks good. She says it's comfortable and she loves it so much she's already worn it even though school hasn't started yet. I'm sure I'll be ordering more.
