Just tried to use one and unsuccessful. Directions need to be included. I used a hammer to install and not secure enough. Tried pliers and twisting to see if it screwed in, no success. If anyone knows, please comment.

Having several pair of shorts that the threaded on buttons popped off of, I selected these things as the fix. I've done 3 pairs so far. I've worn a pair all day, and no problems as of yet, but I will update if the heat of the dryer causes these to become loose or anything. They are super easy to install. I use a small phillips screwdriver to poke a hole through the shorts, then put the sharp part through the hole, and use regular pliers to squeeze the button on. done, that easy, although I also used foam to not scratch the button, as it looks nice, like factory original.

I used this on my husband’s work jeans and it’s pretty easy to use which is the most important thing.

Not what I expected.

Other similar products have a clip or tool to hold the pieces in place when hammering but this does not so you need to have a steady hand. Otherwise works great

Perfect for the intended purpose. My daughter's jeans are always a little big at the waist but fit everywhere else. This eliminated the gap in the waist band

Not very easy to use but once you hammer it in it works fairly well.
