Best rechargeable batteries on the planet right now reasonably priced and they do exactly what they say they do I had some with this. I forgot about left in a plastic bin for 2 years and they were right. It still had about 70% of its power left on it. I bought multiple different brands of rechargeable batteries and when they're left in their packages for too long and then you try to charge them a few years later. Even though they're brand new and you haven't opened them up, they don't last very long and the charge depletes itself almost immediately. By the next day they've lost 20 to 30% of their charge. These are different. These are the best batteries you could buy rechargeable wise. They're worth it. I made the mistake of buying aaa's which I didn't need but I decided to keep them because of their reliability in case I ever needed them one day and since they last that long in storage without needing to be recharged I decided to keep it. It just wasn't worth my time trying to return them. These are great though. Five stars all around. If you want the best rechargeable batteries currently on the market these are them. They do everything that they claim. You can't go wrong with these

These Eneloop batteries are the best. I bought my first pack 5 years ago and they’re still going strong! Just recently bought a new pack because I use them everywhere I can, and I’ll switch out the batteries while the others are charging. The charge holds for a long time! Buy them, you won’t be disappointed!

Years ago I'd begun using rechargeable batteries but found myself going back to alkaline due to limitations of the rechargeables. From short battery life, limited lifecycles and batter memory to being lower voltage than standard AA batteries that put a limit on using in devices needing 6 batteries or more. Cur forward a few years, tons more research online, and I find these batteries. Every review, preview and rating I see puts these at the top of the list. So I buy myself a starter kit, which back then was 8 batteries, a charger, X and D cell adapters (which work quite well, but they won't last as long per charge as a standard alkaline in those) and a black carry bag. These batteries have lasted me years. I'd left them in an unheated storage for a year and when I brought them out, they still had almost a full charge. Haven't failed me since. Now, this purchase, getting myself stocked back up with rechargeables I'm absolutely loving them. I've so far purchased 2 of these packs of AA and a large pack of AAA. replacing alkaline as they die off. I can't recommend these enough, and if you research for yourself online I think you'll find that this is pretty much on par with professional reviews, statistics and tests.

I won’t use AAA alkaline batteries because of leak risk, so all my mine are either eneloop or Energizer Ultimate Lithium. Eneloops fit many of my needs, and as mine were all 10-16 years old (though still worked), I finally decided to replace them. Since the manufacture date is now the same on all, I don’t have to think about grouping them by generation or date made. These Gen. 5 have 850 max. mAh (800 min.), hold a 70% charge for 10 years, and can be recharged 2100x. The only downside is they shouldn't be used in airtight devices in case they get over discharged and vent hydrogen gas. So that leaves out things that are IP rated as dust and/or water tight, like many flashlights. But since that's true of all NiMH, these are still 5 stars.

Pro: As part of Peer Product Review, I tested Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries and have been consistently impressed. They last an incredibly long time, and I’ve never had a single battery fail me in over 10 years of use. I’ve used hundreds of AA and AAA Eneloop batteries to power various electronic gadgets, and they’ve proven to be exceptionally reliable and durable. Con: The price is a bit high compared to other rechargeable batteries, and a slight price reduction would make these an unbeatable choice. Summary: Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries are an outstanding investment for anyone seeking long-lasting and reliable power solutions. They have served me well for over a decade, powering a wide range of gadgets without fail. Although slightly pricey, their durability and performance make them well worth it. Highly recommend these for anyone who values quality and longevity!

These came pre-charged, but I charged them on the Panasonic charger to top them off. They seem to hold the charge well. Not much else to say about batteries other than to date these are the best rechargeable batteries I have owned.

These are good batteries. I just replaced a couple of dozen AAA's I've had for around 25 years. I use a good Lacross Tech charger which probably helped with the service life they gave me. I knocked 1 star as, although they say "Pre-Charged", my first 4 that went on the charger are still charging after 4 hours. Forget about using them fresh out of the package. Figure 5 (maybe more) hours per 4 batteries means 20 hours of charging time needed before they can be used.

Purchased in October 2019, these Eneloop AA batteries are still going strong over 3 years later. I've got a decent charger that ensures each cell is charged independently to the right level, which has probably contributed to them staying in great condition for so long. My only issue is the kids leave the batteries hidden in toys spread all over the house, it's rare that more than half of them can be found in our battery caddy. But every time I eventually find them, I charge them up and they seem to bounce back, as good as new.
