## Description

Knives Tested at Sea The Myerchin Generation 2 B100 Offshore System Pro is a complete rigging kit for sailors, deckhands, and commercial mariners who need tools that hold up offshore. The knife has a classic sheepsfoot blade in Pro-grade German marine stainless steel. It is comparable to 440C for hardness and edge-holding, and it has added anti-oxidation elements for saltwater use. The Gen 2 design uses thicker steel at a lighter overall weight. It also has an improved shackle slot for tightening and loosening shackles and a stronger lanyard attachment point. The handle scales are cut from carefully chosen slabs of black G10 composite, a man-made material that does not react to water, salt, or sun. The black finish also works well as a canvas for the sailor's own scrimshaw in white India ink. The design links maritime heritage with modern materials. The kit includes the Myerchin stainless marlinspike for splicing, knot work, and shackle pins. It also includes a heavy leather sheath that carries both knife and spike, and a leather lanyard strap. Specifications: Model: B100 Black G10 Offshore System Overall length: 8.5 in. Blade length: 3.8 in., stainless steel, standard edge Knife weight: 6.6 oz. Marlinspike: 6.65 in., 2.5 oz., stainless steel Serial numbered Warranty: Limited Lifetime (original owner)

## Features

- COMPLETE OFFSHORE RIGGING SYSTEM: Includes the Generation 2 B100 sheepsfoot knife, a stainless steel Myerchin marlinspike, a heavy-duty leather sheath with a dedicated spike holder, and a leather lanyard strap. Everything a sailor needs for line work, splicing, and deck duty is in one kit.
- PRO-GRADE GERMAN MARINE STAINLESS: The blade is comparable to 440C in hardness and edge retention, with added anti-corrosion elements for saltwater service. Thicker Gen 2 steel gives more strength at a lighter overall weight.
- BLACK G10 HANDLE BUILT FOR THE SEA: The composite G10 scales resist water, salt, and UV, which makes them one of the strongest handle materials for a knife used at sea. The black surface is also a good base for scrimshaw in white India ink.
- CLASSIC SHEEPSFOOT BLADE: The rounded, non-piercing tip is a modern version of the design seamen have trusted for centuries. It cuts line cleanly and safely on a moving deck. An improved shackle slot and lanyard attachment round out the upgrade.
- SPECIFICATIONS & WARRANTY: Overall length 8.5 in., blade 3.8 in., knife weight 6.6 oz. Marlinspike is 6.65 in. and 2.5 oz. Each knife is serial numbered and backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original owner.
