Good but could be better
The grind itself is fantastic and with the ceramic coating the weed doesn't stick to the sides as easy and alot easier to clean if it does... where the weed lays after being ground i feel as tho it should be a little deeper but a couple of taps on the side of the grinder before opening helps... the worst design on the grinder is the mesh! The mesh itself is fine for crystals to pass though but the mesh itself is removable and you have to twist it in but it does come loose after a couple of turns getting your weed out... best way to stop this happening is cutting crystal scraper you get in half an use it as a wedge to stop the movement

Its great but you need to be careful cleaning it.
So I have been looking for the perfect grinder (for me).. And this was it. The lid fitting over the top, the centre magnetic piece was not in the lid, allowing you to pack the grinder well. The scoop tray is nice and the fact you can take out the screen... It's cool. To date this is the best designed headchef grinder imo.But why I would say is that you must NOT use anything like nail varnish remover.. It literally melts this ceramic coating. The SLX grinders has this interesting way that it's applied the ceramic to its paint and can handle the cheaper cleaning products, but I prefer a Headchef grind, but unfortunately I can't use this one anymore âšī¸

Amazing grinder!
I was so impressed with this bit of kit that I felt compelled to write a decent review. In short; buy it. You won't regret it.First of all, the build quality is amazing and I keep noticing little features that have been carefully thought about. For a start, the logos etc aren't just lazer printed on, they are embossed! Yeah, that bright white logo may not last for long rattling around in my tin but, great thinking! Each section also feels slightly different so using it with limited or even no lighting makes this a dream. The teeth inside don't appear to the touch as sharp compared to my old beast; but combine that with the almost teflon-like coating and the fact that it's ceramic, means it grinds even the dampest of flowers with ease. Yes, there is a small amount of build-up but the non-stick definitely works and makes a difference. It's first use was a big bud of really fresh sticky stuff, and it ground without an issue. Each section is well thought out and the removable kief tray will be invaluable once I build up some of those crystals! The other small, but important point which is a massive design plus, is the magnets and connections for the top two parts. Usually, there would be a magnet flush to the bottom of the chamber which, over time, builds up no end of oil and crystals on other grinders affecting the use of that magnet. A careful though to put this on a pillar portruding up, meams it's easier to clean and not affect it's magnet. This grinder though is perhaps no for everyone BUT have a look on their webiste for other products as they seem to do a whole range of different grinders which have different plus points. All in all though, a great grinder and hope it serves me at least half of the seven years my previous one did...

Ceramic coating doesn't make a difference
Do not think you won't need to clean your grinder again.... That's aload of old tosh to be quite frank. You still get build up of the plant matter and olis around the rim of the grinder and the mesh doesn't like to stay in place once you get a build up of crystals at the bottom they sit in where the lugs of the mesh goes so makes it more difficult to keep it in place. However all in all it collects alot of crystals and if your like me and like to collect them I suggest giving it a brush down every week or so to get the most of the crystals away. The ceramic coating is just a selling point for head chef makes no difference what so ever.

Does the job extremely well
Love this grinder. I've owned the smaller predecessor to this one for years, so this was an obvious choice for me to purchase. However im oy giving 4 stsrs as the teeth on my older grinder feel sharper than the brand new teeth. They still do the job very well though and would highly recommend.

Good, solid product
Bought this to replace my old grinder that I have had for 4 years as the sifter had clogged. Went with head chef as they're one of the best when it comes to grinders, and particularly liked this one because of the removalable screen. Overall a very good grinder, the ceramic coating is a bit naff, stuff still gets stuck to it but it does come of very easy with a brush, and the blades could be a bit closer together as they don't always grind the product up fine enough to fit through the holes. Looks very good though and is very sturdy. Would recommend.

Holes Too Small
Went back to using my old grinder after a week of use. Unless the material being ground is very dry the tiny holes for the material to drop through to the lower chamber will block up. Material and finish of the product is very good, unfortunately the design renders it useless.
