The blade gets the job done
There isn’t anything to dislike about this prop. It was designed to do what it says it would and get your boat up out of the water quickly I have a 21 foot chaparral with a Volvo Pantera outdrive after taking much time to research my situation being up in the mountains above 6000 feet, it does what it’s supposed to having 13 pitch from a 15 three bladed aluminum blade that I had . It’s a wider blade span with a 15.5 overall lifts Boat very quickly out of the water overcoming the altitude problem and runs normal at high speeds with no loss of speed. I am grateful for the peoples turning point , that was able to do the research and pointed out where other blades would fail and gave me the recommendation for this prop not to mention that the blade is well manufactured, and looks great on the boatGood job to those at turning point great customer service

Great Pontoon Prop!
Wow, its like a different boat. This 15.3X13 4Bl prop is great on a Lowe SF 212 WT 21ft pontoon with 115 Pro XS. Running light/moderate load will achieve ~29mph (rev limited at @ 6300 rpm) which was 1 mph less than Turning Point 3 blade Stainless (@ 6100 rpm) and 4 blade Aluminum Quicksilver Nemesis (@ 5800 rpm). The handling is remarkable. This prop never loses grip of the water. At all rpm and all practical trim angles this prop is holding solid. Was able to plane over whitecaps from 15-25mph wind and the prop never lost grip and I was able to pitch up the bow significantly.

Does not work well with large gearcase 5.44" Mercury Engines.
15x15 4 blade RH prop on 2022 Mercury 300 four stroke V8It is a beautiful propeller. The issue with the large gearcase is the vent holes in the prop. Unlike mercury props - you can't seal them very well. Turning point suggested using "well nuts" (google it) which was tried. 3/4 of them fell out after 20 minutes. Because the gearcase is larger than the hub diameter, it probably produces a low pressure area as the water passes the transition from 5.44" to 4.75". (see stock image)This overexaggerates the bubble effect on the prop at speed. This leads to vibration and inefficiency. This is in comparison to a Mercury Enertia Eco prop (which costs at least twice as much)But most of the reviews on this thing are fantastic. So it could just be this gearcase issue.

5 minutes to install
Bought this item through Amazon, which had the best price. I had emailed Turning Point Customer Service directly to get the recommendation on what prop to use for my 26' tri-toon. The previous owner had the wrong prop on the boat. I have dealt with Turning Point Customer Service several times for our other boat and they have always been super responsive and helpful. The delivery was quick and it took 5 minutes to install the new prop. The prop looks great and performs well, it gets the boat out of the whole quickly. It is on a 1992 Evinrude 150.
