Excellent Headlights, Great look!
My old OEM headlights were all fogged up and yellow. I decided to go for new ones to improve the look of my '08 Rabbit. After I did some research, these PERDE headlights were one of the best value on the market. I love the dark look of the headlight housing. The build quality of the whole assembly is excellent, as good as the OEM. It comes with all the bulbs installed already, which means that it is a great deal in terms of value. After an easy installation (did not have to remove bumper, but removed the slits from underneath the headlights to reach one of the bolts), I also had to adjust the beam a little bit by using a hex key, as the light was being projected a little low. I am very happy with the outcome. As you can see from the pictures, these beautiful headlights greatly improve the look and age of the car.

Cool looking headlamps
It looks great on my 2006 Jetta. It really gives a COOL look. But it took 3 hours for my mechanic to replace them. Great price and look. Of course fast shipping by Amazon.

They work.
Ordered these to replace the dulled out OEM lights in my sons 2009 Jetta. fit and finish were ok but you will have to adjust them after installation. Be advised these a a pain to put in but it wasn't the headlights fault. ON 2009 Jettas you have to almost take the whole front wrap off to replace the headlight. Would buy again.

Pleasantly surprised.
These look great on my son's 2008 Jetta. They installed like OEM and aside from a few small complaints perform well. All bulbs are the same type as the stock bulbs but the low beam bulb mounts with a spring clip instead of the OEM twist-headlight socket. Not a problem but different. The light beam/scatter from the low beams is not as precise as the original either but it's usable. And the driver side high-beam would not adjust but thankfully it's position wasn't that far off from where it should be and wasn't pointing off into oncoming traffic. I would recommend replacing the bulbs that come with these with higher quality bulbs or LEDs as the bulbs that come with these are not very bright at all. Overall, not a bad set of headlight assemblies for the price. Especially when one considers that OEM headlight assemblies are more expensive than these for just one side.

They started peeling UPDATE: Warranty Information from the company
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE:TL;DR Take pictures of the entire headlight (both left and right), all markings, stickers and components BEFORE you install to save yourself time and a headache when it comes time to process a warranty claim with this company.I was hoping the warranty process would be easier but unfortunately the company PERDE is making it difficult. Upon contacting them within the warranty period, I was informed that they require a number of pictures in order to process a warranty claim which is nothing out of the ordinary, EXCEPT it requires removal of the headlights after they are already installed. Here is the exact message from the company:"We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your purchase. We appreciate your business and will do our best to get your issues resolved as quickly as possible. To expedite this process, please send pictures following the instructions below:1) Take a picture of the issue you are having.2) Take a picture of the printed manufacturer's sticker or stamp on the back of the light.3) Take a picture of the front side of the headlight assembly showing a full frontal view of the light. Once you have taken these pictures, please attach them in a reply to this email, and we'll take care of them as quickly as we can. You will not need to ship back the damaged light unless requested by us. If we do need the light back, we will email you a prepaid label. Please hold onto the light for 2-3 days before discarding if we have not sent you a prepaid label. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this process, our policies, or even our service, please feel free to contact us."I provided the pictures they requested (included in the review), but they changed the request and further clarified that the "manufacturers sticker or stamp" is white or blue and located somewhere on the light. They followed that message saying I will need to remove the headlight to take the required picture. If you don't want to spend your time removing the headlights for the photo, then you will need to purchase a replacement from the company then be reimbursed once you receive. Since the company didn't provide the full warranty information, there is no telling if you will be fully reimbursed or if there are any stipulations so be careful, you may just end up paying for 2 sets of headlights.Needless to say, this process is more than annoying and a total time suck. In order to avoid it, learn from my experience and take pictures of the entire headlight (both left and right), all markings, stickers and components BEFORE you install to save yourself time and a headache in the event you decide to process a warranty claim.------Original Review:Had these lights for almost a year. Don’t get me wrong, they look great and definitely give the car a facelift but the coating started peeling on both headlights. I got these to replace the OEM lights I had that completely fogged over after years of wear and tear. I had the expectation that these would last but the fact that they are peeling and flaking off has me reviewing the warranty that is not available on the product listing. Check the video for proof. Needless to say I will be contacting the company to hopefully get a replacement. As a side note, I had the same issue as another guy in the reviews. Out of the box the front drivers side blinker didn’t work. I replaced the bulb thinking that would solve the problem but it didn’t. The blinker now works when it wants to.I’ll update the review once I hear back from the company.

Sure, They work, Eventually
Upon first look they seem almost identical to the original headlight housing to my 2009 VW Jetta. There are pieces on the housing that differ so slightly that made the headlights sit higher than the original but we got that to work. The left turn signal did not work at installation. Tried MANY avenues to get the turn signal to work without a positive result. Then the right headlight housing was pulled, turn signal housing inspected for comparison, put back in, back on the car and BOOM the right no longer worked. So my father is a bit more determined than I am. I was ready to send them back. My father and brother discovered the connection to the turn signal housing (little silver tabs) was slightly off. So with some adaptations all bulbs work and function properly. So cheaply made products needs work to operate as it should. I guess that was expected.
