This is fantastic and believe me when I say that as I have wasted money on thin rip easy contact paper and I got fed up with it until I watched a women on YouTube video transforming her kitchen worktop with this product from DC fix and it looked amazing and trust me it is gorgeous and actually looks like real oak . Well done DC fix . You will not be wasting your money on this product, its not thin , it does not tear easily , no bubbles and if you get the odd one then no problem as so easy to push out , I done my bath panel and cabinet as wanted bit of warmth look in bathroom as marble nice but it don't add that warm cosy feel like wood does. I will be buying more of this Rebecca oak it's fantastic

Needed it to cover a door. First time trying and was really easy to do. Stuck perfect. Looks great.

This stuff is fab. It went on in 2 minutes and straight. Didn't bubble up. Looks class. Put this on an old pine dresser that I'm up cycling for my van. I think the surface will be fine, but it may come away from the edges because it could of been more sticky. So 4★

ive heard a lot of hype about this product so before taking on a whole worksurface i did a test run and all i can say is compared to some of the stuff ive used in the past this looks the buisiness ,it glides into position using the smoothing tool,and dare i say it im impressed with what ive seen up to yet,hope i dont eat my words saying this

This vinyl is excellent, the colour is much better than I thought it would be, it looks like a wooden worktop and it's easy to apply.

I bought a roll to tidy up a DIY mistake on some flat pack furniture. Looks quite good unless you grab a magnifying glass. The roll itself will stick on for about 6 months unless your kids start picking at it.

Used on my shop counter. Easy to apply and I get so many comments on how much better it looks than the old dark wood. So many people thought I’d had a new work top fitted.

Why did you choose this product over others?: The window shelf in my kitchen was made of horrible cheap wood, so thought that I would cover it with this. It is a bit fiddly but you soon get the hang of it. It went on OK but now a few months later it has started to bubble a little. Not sure if that is down to the product or my work!

Ich habe inzwischen mehrere Folien von dc-fix verarbeitet und damit bereits Fensterbänke sowie eine Tür foliert. Diese Folie habe ich verwendet, um eine in die Jahre gekommene Fensterbank aufzufrischen. Optik Die Holzoptik wirkt hochwertig und realistisch. Eine fühlbare Holzstruktur gibt es zwar nicht, die Oberfläche ist glatt. Optisch fällt das jedoch nicht auf und die Fensterbank wirkt deutlich hochwertiger und moderner als vorher. Verarbeitung Nach gründlicher Reinigung der Fensterbank habe ich die Folie mit etwas Überstand zugeschnitten, nach und nach aufgebracht und mit einem Rakel glattgezogen. Für die Kanten und Ecken habe ich zusätzlich einen kleinen Heißluftfön verwendet. Dadurch lässt sich die Folie sehr gut anformen. Ein Tipp, den ich in einem Youtube-Video gesehen habe: Kleine Luftblasen müssen nicht zwingend wieder komplett abgezogen werden. Mit einer sehr feinen Nadel kurz einstechen und anschließend mit dem Fön erwärmen und die Luftblase kann mit dem Finger oder Rakel herausgedrückt werden. So verschwinden kleinere Luftblasen problemlos. Positiv überrascht hat mich die Robustheit. Selbst wenn man sich einmal verklebt, lässt sich die Folie wieder lösen und neu positionieren, ohne direkt einzureißen. Da habe ich bei einer Folie eines anderen Herstellers andere Erfahrungen gemacht. Qualität und Haltbarkeit Anfangs war ich skeptisch, ob Folie auf der Fensterbank (im Bereich der Heizkörper) dauerhaft hält. Ich habe jedoch bereits weitere Fensterbänke im Haus mit dc-fix Folien beklebt. Auch nach einem Winter haben sich weder Kanten gelöst noch gab es optische Veränderungen. Die Folien sehen weiterhin aus wie am ersten Tag. Vorteile • realistische und hochwertige Holzoptik • sehr robust • lässt sich gut korrigieren und verarbeiten • bisher sehr gute Haltbarkeit auf Fensterbänken und Tür Nachteile • keine fühlbare Holzstruktur Fazit Für mich eine günstige und optisch überzeugende Möglichkeit, ältere Fensterbänke aufzuwerten. Wer etwas Zeit für die Verarbeitung mitbringt, kann damit sehr gute Ergebnisse erzielen.

Pega bien. Es reposicionable. Ni muy grueso para que se noten las uniones o esquinas, ni muy fino para que se rompa. Tiene textura y el aspecto es muy natural. Yo lo puse en un baño. Hice tocador, encimera y cenefa. Para cenefa, al tener gresite, se marca un poco, pero no me disgusta. Es impermeable y con la humedad de la ducha no se ha despegado. Relación calidad precio, para mi 10. Es muy importante ponerlo despacio, alisando bien y sin que queden zonas sin pegar del todo. Si queda alguna burbuja, levantas y repites. Si aún así, te queda alguna burbuja, la pinchas y repasas hasta que toda la zona quede pegada. Si alguna zona, por pequeña que sea, queda mal pegada, hay muchas posibilidades de que se despegue. Yo siempre, cuando termino de pegarlo, vuelvo a repasar todo otra vez. Lo más importante es el tacto, porque al tener textura es difícil ver las burbujas a simple vista. De lo que yo he probado, pega bien en DM, madera sin sin barniz ni pintura (no marca la beta de la pintura y no es preciso lijarla al máximo), azulejo, metal, plástico, superficie pintada. No pega en hormigón o pasteado. La superficie tiene que estar muy muy limpia, con suciedad no pega y cualquier pequeña partícula hace que en esa zona no se pegue y se pueda acabar despegando. Yo paso alcohol por todo antes de utilizarlo. Si eres una persona con paciencia y le dedicas tiempo a ponerlo (como con todo los vinilos) va perfecto. Si quieres algo ultra rápido, no te quedará bien o se despegará. Yo, desde hace un tiempo, solo uso esta marca, ya que está en un rango de precios adecuado para la calidad que tiene.

J’ai utilisé ce film adhésif effet chêne pour relooker entièrement mon jukebox et je suis vraiment très satisfait du résultat. Comme on peut le voir sur la photo, l’effet bois est très réussi et donne immédiatement beaucoup plus de cachet au meuble. Le film se découpe facilement, se pose sans trop de difficulté et adhère très bien une fois correctement appliqué. Il permet vraiment de transformer un meuble à moindre coût. Très bon produit, je recommande sans hésiter.
