it's all I expected and more. It even has volume control (in addition to that on the TV), so a few discs that weren't loud enough are now just fine.

It works great! The HDMI cord is specifically for the blu ray dvds. You have to switch between dvd mode and blu ray mode. It's pretty easy to hook up though.

I bought the Geoyeao Blu Ray DVD Player, 1080P Home Theater Disc System at the end of October. I had a 3 way HDMI splitter going to the TV. My old DVD player, PS4, and Super Nintendo shared the splitter. No problems. However, this Blu-ray player seems to have a "persistant" signal. I have been told, this is to allow it to load faster. The problem was that the TV thinks the Blu-Ray is always on, so I could not use the PS4 or Nintendo, unless I went behind the TV and computer to unplug the player(not an easy task). I tried using the RCA cable that came with the player, instead. That worked for regular DVD, but not for Blu-Ray. So, I went to the manufacturer's website and tried using the contact form, to ask for advice. All I got was an "internal server error". Then, I tried the support email address, fro the same web page and it was returned "undeliverable". I then tried the email at 163.com and never received a response. Finally, I visited ChatGPT and asked for a solution. Chat told me to get a 3 way HDMI splitter that has a switch, so the TV would not "see" the Blu-Ray when the switch was on the PS4. Now, this actually worked! Now, I just hit a button on the 3 way and it switches to whichever machine I have hooked up. I LOVE this player and would give it 5 stars, if it were not for the fact I could not get any support. I does load fast and the remote works great for me. I would definitely buy it again.

This is a nice BlueRay/DVD, plays all my movies without a problem, you need to keep the remote pointed at the player but that isn’t an issue for me. I would buy another one.

Garbage! I bought it in October. Now, in March, the image is flickering constantly, like a bad TV signal...Postscript: After I posted this negative review, this company DID refund my money. But that's not really the point, is it? The point is the mammoth inconvenience of buying an appliance that only lasts 5 months, then having to buy another one. So...I'm still out the money of the replacement DVD player I had to buy. Which cost more. Shouldn't they at least pay for the DIFFERENCE in the price of the two players?
