Comfy and easy on/off for fractured scaptula
This is so much more comfortable than my ER-provided sling and very easy to get on and off. Here are the key highlights: 1. The sling material itself is very lightweight and breathable just as advertised. 2. There is no buckle or other component in the back to push on you while you sit or sleep. It's just fabric sewn together and I haven't felt yet. 3. The adjustment strap in the front is Velcro and makes for very quick single-handed on-and-off. That point, in particular, is very important to me because my particular injury allows me to remove the sling when I'll be in a seated position for a while. So I can either quickly loosen the sling and allow my arm to lower into my lap or in just a few more seconds can remove the sling altogether. This is a pretty substantial departure from the buckle based slings which require much greater dexterity and.or two hands. 4. The clean black design looks more professional and goes well with business attire. Though I haven't fully tested this theory, I expect that it won't get stained as easily, either. Overall, I'm very happy with this new sling and plan to wear it for the duration of my recovery. However, it's also important to note that my particular injury allows me more movement in terms of the precise position of my shoulder. If yours is such that a small movement, for example allowing your arm to hang more to the side rather than directly across your chest, then this sling may not provide the stability needed. For me, that flex ability is ideal and allows me greater comfort.

good sling but loses stickiness over time
Update: I have been wearing for 2+ weeks now and velcro has almost entirely lost its stickiness and my arm has fallen out a few times. Thankfully, my recovery is going well, and I have enough strength to hold up my arm when it falls out. Not sure how long these should last but seeing as how I wear it all day, I get that it might lose stickiness even though I've been careful to keep my hair and pet hair out of the velcro. Even though not super sticky, I still really like the product and will just reorder it since nothing else even worked for me. Also the little thumb holders are annoying, and I have to tie them together and tuck them so they stay out of my way. I broke my arm and had corrective surgery, and this sling has been ESSENTIAL for my recovery and comfort. I have tried out so many slings, and this is by far the best one! It is so comfortable especially if you want to wear a t-shirt or tank top and will have your bare arm in the sling - there aren’t any uncomfortable Velcro areas on the inner bit (unlike most slings). It is also super durable and has a strong Velcro which means I don’t have to worry about it coming undone and my arm falling out (which happened with the one the ER gave me). I also like how long the sling can be made - this is helpful if you’re sitting watching tv or relaxing and just want to let your arm loose a little. Only negative is the thumb band - I don’t use it and it can be a little annoying, but it is easy to tuck away, so it isn’t that big of a deal. I highly recommend this to anyone who is tall and/or fat- it fits so nice and allows for loose wear as well!

A little disappointed in the XL sling
I love the Think Ergo sling in large and thought the best features are that it is adjustable both at the elbow and in the front.also, that the Large size it’s truly as usable on a left arm as on the right. This version, the XL, which has a longer “sleeve” from elbow to fingers, makes a real difference if one has wrist drop. However, there is only one place for adjusting the strap and that is in front, via Velcro and when used on one’s left arm, the branded tab is against the skin and scratchy. The importance of type of fastener is more important than I could have imagined - my doc would like me to loosen the sling multiple times a day to flex my elbow. This is not easily accomplished with the Velcro closure. The smaller sling has a very easily adjusted front closure. I have to return this, as it will not function as well as the Think Ergo “large” sling.

Great wrist and hand support
My son says this is the best sling for his brachial plexus injury. The XL provides a long enough sleeve to support his wrist and hand making him more comfortable.

Easily adjusted using just one hand via good quality Velcro, which make this a very comfortable sling for a broken collarbone.

This sling is very light, breathable and comfortable to use. It is very simple to put on as well and keeps arm & shoulder in one place. Has been ideal to use long term.

Not a bad arm support. But quite tricky to adjust yourself if you want your hand high up against your neck, for example if you’ve done with your shoulder.

I bought this collar brace when my son broke his collarbone, and it worked really well. It provided great support and helped keep him comfortable during recovery. The fit was good and it was easy to adjust. Definitely recommend for anyone needing reliable collarbone support.

Very happy with this sling. I’m 6’1 and using the standard adult size to support a badly broken wrist. Much more comfortable than the sling I’d purchased at a local pharmacy.
