I am a 40 plus just trying to learn to swim…was told by a person that swims and teaches to grab a pair, it would help. It definitely helped with technique, they are comfortable, being plastic attached to hands. The size runs true

Withstands Chlorine
My neoprene/rubber paddles would slowly disintegrate with each use in the pool, requiring repeat replacement. These, however, are virtually indestructible. Because they are rigid, I think I'm getting a better workout with them also.One caution: leaving these on-deck between sets on a hot sunny day will cause them to heat up to lava-like temperatures. I literally blister-burned my right palm after putting it on one time after they sat in the sun. And the pool water didn't cool them off quick enough.
