Cctv camera
Shows a good colour picture, sometimes I have to wipe the lens although not a problem, but the audio is crackly but the price was good.

Sturdy camera but poor picture quality.
This presents as a good quality cam but the picture quality is poor and it keeps disconnecting from my phone.

Compact
Found this camera compact as needed and wire free so no holes to drill through walls etc. Been in use now for 3 months and not needed to recharge it yet.Can easily tuck camera out of way so people cannot see it and touch it.

It works, pretty happy with it
The attractive feature of this camera is the long battery life. It's not actually specified on this page or the manual, but the manual states 200uA and a battery capacity of 6000mAH so a quick calculation suggests 30,000 hours which is one year (assuming two batteries in series). That's when it's not actually activated and recording - in which case the consumption jumps to 200mA, giving a life of 15 hours. Assuming recording just a few minutes per day, we should be looking at 9 months or so.The app works, even the intercom. I don't intend to use it as a door intercom, though that is a suggested use. I'm using it as an external garden security capture device. The time length for automatic recordings can be set to 10, 20 or 30 seconds (or none). These recordings go onto an SD card (16GB supplied). The app is passable - lots of typos and not the clearest interface, but it does the job. There is a cloud service. This appeared broken in the app, and a paid for service (that took me to a page not available) - so either not ready or broken. There's a free section, but not clear if a trial as it appears to be the same thing as the "7-Day Video History" with is £3.99/month or £39.99/year (if the site was reachable). Update - the next time I logged into the app, I could see the cloud service has an expiry date one month ahead (so it is a trial), and the checkout page is working (PayPal or credit card - I would definitely not send credit card details...)So far, it does what I want at a reasonable price - just a camera to leave in the garden (it can pickup the WiFi from there). Will report back on reliability. The camera itself seems well made and rain-proof (I went for black so can hide it in the dark).UPDATE: unfortunately, the more I use it, the less I like it. Looks good from build quality, but the battery life is much shorted than expected (weeks, not months) and the app is awful. Connecting to the device is extremely slow. I'm using it as a save to SD card only device now.

Fine as a live monitor, not so good at recording movements
I have several cameras, that record when activated by PIR motion detection, but because this one isn’t recording all the time, to save on battery power, it misses recording things that go past it, by the time it’s started up after detecting movement, the object has passed by. For example, my postman walked by my house, and as you can see by the photo, by the time the camera has started up, he had walked past and it had missed him.But as a live monitor, it’s great, the colour picture is first rate, and it has a good wide angle of vision. The camera was easy to set up on the app, and I didn’t even have to switch off my 5ghz Wi-fi on my hub, which I have always had to do with other 2.4ghz smart devices. It’s unfortunate that it doesn’t come with a rain shield, as with the recent weather, I have had to wipe it every morning. Also the security of the mount isn’t that good, you have to have it low enough to be able to remove it to charge, but high enough to deter people from stealing it. That’s why I think I’ll use it to monitor the back garden, and hide it in the eves of the shed roof. The good thing is, there are no wires to root about, it’s completely wireless. The versatility of this camera is its best feature, you can pick it up and hide it about the house, or mount it somewhere outside. Moving it around to keep your eyes on whatever you want.Battery life looks good, it’s only dropped 1 bar in 2 weeks, whether it will last more than a few months between charges, we will have to see. It’s nice that it came with a 64gb sd card, usually with cameras, you have to buy these separately. The app is well laid out and easy to navigate, a lot of it is self evident, especially if you are used to camera apps.
