These ear buds have exceeded my expectations. I have tried other (and I mean several other) ear buds for listening to the Calm app music for sleep. They mostly started out great. But within very little time they developed problems. Sounding tinny, poor connectivity, one or the other ear buds completely breaking down, not lasting as long as advertised. Not to mention none were comfortable for side sleeping even when advertised as such. These are different. The sound is clear and resonant. They fit well in the ear. Their connectivity is great. They charge quickly and the charge lasts up to 15 hours. They aren’t comfortable for side sleeping but I have given up on that even existing. Overall, these are the best ear buds I have ever tried. I definitely highly recommend these. I use them only for sleeping because I have hearing aids that I pair to my phone for daytime listening, but they are so light I can see how they would be great for sports, etc. Give these a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I love these ear phones. This is the second pair im buying to replace my .The old headphones had the button to power on or off broken in half and stop working, but I think that was largely due to using the tip of my nail to constantly power them off. I had used them for work in a large kitchen so they constantly got wet, greasy, crumbly dirty, and sweaty. I never had any issues with function or cleaning and the battery easily lasted my 14 hour days. Im confident these will last me much longer if I dont use my nail tips to press buttons.

LOVE these! A friend at work told me about these & what a life changer! They’re awesome- SO easy! Lots of ppl at work wearing 1 or more earphones - it pauses when you take it off & it magnetically connects to other one! It keeps a charge for up to 12hrs! It recharges practically immediately & connects more simply than any bluetooth device I have EVER had!

Update: Knocking a star off. Still a decent headset. Discovered a couple, to me, significant deficiencies, since my original review. 1) Battery life is far lower than rated 12 hour. getting about 8, maybe. Mostly listening to podcasts. 2) Lack of low battery warning. If there is one, I never heard it. The other earphones I have used all have clear warnings , usually stating '20% battery remaining' and such. I have not had any warning, and ran out of battery 2 times so far. 3) the buttons on the neckband are really not logical, or marked what they do. 4) battery indicator is on the other side of the neckband than the charging port. Not a big deal, just odd. 5) no 'over top of ear' wire routing like others I have used. Just a preference. 6) I miss having an add-on charged battery to greatly increase the use of the product without having to find a charging port. Not easy when out of the home/car. On the positive side, I have found the phone function and quality is very good. No complaints from anyone I have talked to about the sound quality on my end. Most headsets I have used were bad to very bad. These are very good. From a dead battery, I charged about 20 minutes, got about 20% battery (according to the app). I guess that is pretty good. Using the headset as i type. Battery is now 15% after about 25 minutes of use (podcast listening) Still don't like the neckband. Prefer over top of ear, tight around the head wire style with nothing on my neck. Still, the sound quality for music, when equalized using your music app, is very good. Sound and mic quality are very good for phone. The business end of this set is there. Original review below: Coming from an older pair of similar Jaybird headphones. Purchased these because they seemed similar. Seems a lot of review are doing pros and cons. Seems reasonable. Impressions below pros/cons. Pros: lightweight fits my ears fast charging simple controls (also a con) good sound..well..after using your music app's EQ to adjust to your hearing level phone/mic seems very good. cons disposable product. No adding/changing batteries that I can see. during quiet songs, you can hear sound transmitted from your clothing, etc. Not terrible. Just something new and odd. non-intuitive simple controls (simple to learn, however) no app to fine tune the headphones to your hearing level and tones to your ears. out of the box, sound is flat and zero bass. using your music app like Amazon Prime Music, you can tune an equalizer and greatly improve the sound relatively low volume not crazy about feeling the cord on my earlobes and the band on my neck. Impressions: Not bad for the price. Initially, I thought they were horrible. Turned on the EQ in Amazon Prime Music, which fixed that ! Out of the box , the sound is unimpressive, to say the least. Not crazy about the semi-rigid band. I liked the all wire of the Jaybird, as you could have it conform to your head with no movement for a real nice fit, making you even forget you had them on. These, you always know you have them on, as you can feel them on your earlobe and on your neck. Even with the annoyances, will give it 5 stars. Will revisit the review if there is any significant update Nutshell, they are almost identical to a $15 set I have, in all respect except these do sound a lot better. Is it worth the price... ehhh I don't know. As I listen to music writing this, I am liking them a LOT less than my old Jaybird Freedom. The sound quality (after setting up the EQ) is better, however, but the neck band is getting more annoying

I've had a set of Beats Flex since July of 2025. They still work and hold charge for an impressive amount of time. People I talk to say they can hear me clearly. However, I give these headphones one star for several reasons I will list with number 5 being the biggest annoyance: 1) Battery charge indicator is not shown at the top of screen as is standard for all other bluetooth earbuds I've used. The firmware on the headset requires you to navigate settings menu for charge. Yes, Control Center does show Beats charge, but still...makes no sense. 2) They are stubbornly slow to connect and when they do, there is an annoying jingle that plays which is not impressive, is too long and is totally unnecessary. 3) The firmware and software partnership with Apple is ridiculous. No one needs this. The fact that Apple carved out processing power and storage room to run these things is frustrating. This leads to my next complaint 4) Device switching is annoying for many reasons not least of which is security concerns. It is reasonable if you want to be constantly plugged into your systems, but most people don't. There's a strong argument this is unhealthy both physically and psychologically. I don't want an iPad or my computer to connect to my headphones which is a playing music or streaming from my phone. This will drain the earbud battery faster and create an addition bluetooth stream which has potential vulnerability. Apple doesn't allow you to permanently disable the feature of recognizing and thereby connecting all your devices. You can turn one off, but the next time your headphones connect they get linked again. 5) This is by far the worst feature: Beats routes the microphone feed back into the headset speakers which means in a phone conversation, you hear yourself in the headphones with a touch of latency. You also hear with deafening clarity all the noises you make from a faucet running to plastic wrapping to a door opening, all of it gets piped in and sometimes is louder than the voice of your caller. It is the dumbest design ever. If Apple wants to improve call clarity, it would noise cancel all exterior noises for you and your caller, not amplify them. 6) I hate these earbuds and will likely never buy another Beats product. The only reason I still use them is that the batteries occasionally die on my much older set of generic brand.

Apple designed, H1 chipset, basically the same Bluetooth and audio performance of the original AirPods Pro without the noise cancelling. So it sounds great, pairs and operates perfectly with Apple devices, and the silicone ear tips do a pretty good job sealing and blocking out ambient noise. Originally bought a set for my wife to use on airlines, she loses earbuds and the $.69 throwaway wired earbuds they hand out for free were so bad they didn't even work when I tried them. The set I got for her worked so well I bought this second set to have as a spare, and use myself when appropriate. I have AirPods Pro 2, and also use AirPods Max, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, and a few iem. For $50 these are an unbelievable good deal. You can't get AppleCare Plus for them, but at $50 just buy another set and keep them charged up.

Most headphones give me a headache after wearing them for a while, but these don’t. The Beats Flex are super comfortable and lightweight, and the sound quality is great. I also love the magnetic earbuds, which make them very practical and easy to carry. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort.

Good product until it stops working, usually it lasts me like two years, I use it around two hours per day when I'm at home and when I have to travel, for about 6 hours every day. Has a very good reception and a decent sound. It is a good product while it works and I always have an extra one because it will fail and I cannot feel like be in the airplane without them or if I have to work on a noisy place. Im returning a defective one that stopped working in a month and ordering a new replacement right away (I do have at least two at the time on my possession). Trough eight years I have been buying the same product because they work for what I need but when you buy the same product for more than teen times because it breaks down every time... I wish the quality improves or that I can find a replacement product that substitute this one.

Maybe bad luck I got a lemon product. Worked for one week but never fully charging then it stopped charging all together.

I ride EUCs & emtbs with a ff mtb helmet & these neckband type bt iems are the only cans that'll work. For me at least. I've been rocking a Philips shb5950 for a few yrs now & while still going strong, I'm always on the lookout for extras when they do fail. Caught this Beats Flex on a a'zon flash sale. Didn't have high expectation but all in all, I'm happy. The Flex is light (maybe too light as they flop in the wind), battery life is very good plus it charges quick as well. The incl silicon tips are one of the very few I've tried that fits my ear canals & does not need the foamies I normally use with all iems. & they hide inside the helmet very well. Yes its not audiophile SQ but then, it doesn't have the eardrum piercing sizzzzzzbilance that's common to a lot of bt cans. Overall, its musical & I don't expect much more in active physical environments. So far with a week or 2 in, I've experienced some bt cutouts. Not a biggie as I can always reestablish pair again but its something to be aware of. At full retail, I might have some misgivings but at the 50% off sale I got the Flex for, I'd say its a 5⭐ value!

I love these earbuds and they've become my go-to for hiking/backpacking, skiing, running, & horseback riding. I really like that they have the cord that loops behind your neck so that if they fall out of your ears you don't lose one. My favorite feature has to be the magnets on the back of the earbuds so that you can snap them together like a necklace - it automatically shuts off the earbuds and lets me switch quickly and easily without worrying about losing them or having to pack them away in a charging case or something every time I take them off. Because the battery/bluetooth is in the cable part not the earbuds, they're more like the size of wired earbuds and so they're really comfortable to wear to bed or under my ski helmet since they don't stick out. Battery life is great, really easy to connect to my iPhone or my Garmin smartwatch, and I love how when you quick connect them to iPhone you get a battery status update. They aren't great at noise cancellation and the sound quality is good but not great, but they're my go-to for any kind of active/athletic activity.
