I have to say this is an excellent piece of kit. Well designed & sturdy. I wanted something that would stop my portable monitor from toppling onto the floor & that I could lug up & down the country when working away from home. This is spot on. Enough adjustability without being over-engineered. It's very well made which means it's a little heavy but that simply reflects the quality of the item & materials used. Definitely recommended.

I’m a full time digital nomad traveling with a portable monitor to use with my laptop. This thing is absolutely genius as it lets me elevate my monitor. It’s sturdy yet packs small. The only downside is that I wish I could elevate it further, but for the size it packs down to it’s a great purchase.

I have a 15.6" portable asus monitor. So far so good, it supports the screen comfortably at a good angle. It is a decent weight and feels very sturdy.Edit, there is one drawback, if you lift the stand to its maximum Elevation it won't stay up, it slides back down. This isn't an issue for me as I want it at the minimum height, it is completely stable but if you want the screen higher this functionality may be a problem.

Excellent - solid and easily supports my 16” portable monitor.Monitor is held at a similar height to the screen on a laptop screen when positioned on a desk.

This is definitely a well-built stand, and seems to handle a decent weight. But it is also quite heavy itself. And given that it can only offer 10cm or so of additional height, the tradeoff simply does not seem worth it for portable use. I'm now looking into the Tern stand from NomadSetups, which seems far more promising.

This is absolutely brilliant! Not too heavy, yet sturdy and I can pop it in my laptop bag to take with me when I am on the move.

I just ordered a portable monitor so I have 2 screens while working on my laptop. This stand was advertised as a package buy (not a discount, just something that I might like to order as well). Considering my laptop is on a laptop stand to get it at eye height, I knew I needed a stand for this monitor as well, to have them ( at least somewhat) level. Not only does it not reach the height I need it to be (even though I measured it against the height of my laptop), the main problem is, is that it does not hold the weight of the monitor. When I slide it all up (to go as high as it can), as soon as I place the monitor on it, it just slides right back down - according to the specs, it should hold a monitor up to 17" and mine is 15.6" so it should have hold. I am therefore returning the item. I will now have to go on the hunt for a new one, and in the meantime, prop it up on some books to have it somewhat at working height.
