This product is difficult to find. Pricey but worth it as it is very soothing and healing on the body!

Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisturizing Cream is the only cream my son could tolerate on his sensitive skin. I've used this cream since when he was a month old baby and now he's almost 7 years old, we still have to use this. Any other lotion/cream would give him rash and does not moisturize enough. He has eczema that would flare up in the cold weather or when he sweats. As long as we put this cream on right after bath AND in the morning all over the body and face, he'll be fine. I wish Aveeno would make this in a larger size. We go through this 8oz tube quite often, esp. in the winter time since it's drier. The "eczema" version of this cream doesn't work either. I'm not sure why. Perhaps the oat product and being paraben free play a role in keeping the sensitive skin in check.

This is the only lotion that calms and relieved my sons eczema. It was bad red and itchy. We tried everything! Hydrocortisone 1percent and was even prescribed 2.5 percent, eucerin, aquaphor, some French brand and nothing worked. Then I tried this. I thought what the heck, what’s ten more dollars? And bam! Results the next day!!!! As a parent, relieving your baby’s discomfort is the best feeling ever. That and stopping the crying. Great product. Not all Aveeno lotions work the same. Use eczema for eczema or rashes.

I didn't use it on my baby. I bought it as an attempt to keep my hands moisturized around a newborn. After a few weeks of frequent hand washing, I found my hands getting dry and even rough on a couple fingertips. A baby's skin is sensitive, so I hate to be caressing him with hands like sand paper! I need something that's fast absorbing, non-greasy and safe for babies. My usual AHA, thick cream, and oil based products either get washed off before they sink in or too greasy. So I turned to baby products. Aquaphor ointment takes a while to absorb. This lotion was the second product I tried, and with the first application my hands feel moisturized and instantly smoother! Now I have little tubes of this everywhere around the house.

I have been using this for years - not for a baby, but for my aging skin. It is the best moisturizer out of the many I have tried.However, I am slightly concerned about the inclusion of Dimethicone. Dimethicone (also called polymethylsiloxane) is a silicon-based polymer used as a lubricant and conditioning agent. I only use it on my body, not my face. My hands are mainly where I use it, as after doing dishes and gardening, my hands start to become like sandpaper. As an irritant, I can say that if I forget, and touch my eyelid for any reason, it will start streaming. I have decided that as the percentage of Dimethicone is low in this product (1.2%), I will take the risk. I only gave a 4 star rating rather than 5, due to the inclusion of Dimethicone.

I have been trying baby lotions from different brand for my son and this one probably is the best i would recommend in terms of value. I like to apply several layers on my son and it is very easy to absorb. I have tried other brands that my friend recommended since they work well with their babies but my experience so far it is for baby lotions you just gotta try different brands and find the one that works for your baby cause everyone of the them is different.

Great product, truly fragrance free, reduces redness on dry & irritated skin quickly. We have used every product available on our 3 yr old son since he was born as he has sensitive skin and often gets dry scaly red patches on his body. We tried the Aveeno Baby’s eczema version of their lotion but I prefer the texture of this one and also think it has slightly less scent. Recently my son had a terrible rash and within 12 hours of a single application his skin looked significantly better. The cream is thick but also rubs into the skin nicely without leaving a greasy feel.
