Did the Job and saved me money...
THE DVR kept on saying no HD drive, so I purchased a new drive, but it still kept on saying no HD drive detected? I then watched a YouTube video that said, if you can't hear your hard drive running, but everything else seems OK, that it could be just your power cord/AC adapter? Basically the power cords depreciate over time and end up not delivering enough power to the DVR. So I purchased this new "switching" adapter and everything is now OK.
