Libbey Just Tasting Round Bowl Set, Ceramic, (13pcs) 12 bowls- one recipe card

Theses are so useful. I got them to better proportion my serving sizes and they are very reasonably priced, But, I have found they are so helpful in other areas for my kitchen. Prep containers for small amts of herbs and condiments, dipping sauce containers, seedling starters, holding rings, for base under food serving dishes, heating up butter in micro, molds for frozen desserts, jello serving, tiny vases for small placeholder flowers, etc.

After searching for a small teacup and saucer in bulk....I became frustrated and was about to spend an exorbitant amount to rent the necessary items. I realized when I went to purchase these cute bowls, my problem was solved! Originally these containers were meant for mini deserts for my upcoming "TEA" but they are going to be the: "Perfect Little Teacup." I wil also purchased the mini square plates to serve as saucers! I Love it when a plan comes together!! Thanks Libreria Venus & Amazon...... UPDATE: I have ordered an additional set of bowls. I am about to order the mini desert plates to use as saucers.......So EXCITED!!

Perfect for soup taster. I haven't had them long enough to see how they hold up over time; that is why I gave them four stars rather than five.

I was very happy with my purchase of these bowls. They are small but perfect for pudding, jello, etc. They look very nice on my table. Please note they are ceramic and very fragile. Although packaged well by Amazon, two of the bowls arrived smashed. I feel this was due to the manufacturer's packaging with thin cardboard between the units instead of a more substantial cardboard or bubble wrap. So with only a little aggravation, Amazon helped resolve the problem for me. I am quite happy with these and plan on ordering the small plates next.

I bought these bowls for a soup exchange at my house, they were the perfect size, but we have continued to use them for everyday things. These bowls would be ideal for serving little appetizers or desserts, too. My daughter likes them for everyday use for just a taste of ice-cream (we are watching our weight), or I have used them for a small amount of dip for veggies. They hold up great in the top rack of the dishwasher, very sturdy.

I love these little bowls. My first use was for a small dessert after a big meal for 10 people. Just the right size for a pretty presentation without feeling like I was stuffing them. A really great value. I thought I was getting 13 bowls, so my surprise was that the 13th piece was a useless little recipe book, but even with only 12 bowls I feel like I got a good deal.

I ordered two sets and received them on 22 August. I used them for the first time over the weekend and they worked great for my individual cakes. They puffed up beautifully and stayed moist in the center. I've only used them in the oven set at 350 degrees, so I'm unsure just how much heat they can withstand at this point(will update review later). I would've given these bowls a 5 but they aren't as wide as I'd like them to be for my individual corn chowders. Other than that, they are great. I wish I were able to load photos. Not sure how to do that.
