I mean, they're chunks of shaped metal, the bar is low here. Standard rivets, and they work great. The setting tool is perfect for them. I kinda prefer the setting tool that has the holes in the end. This one has the holes on the side but I'm warming up to that configuration. I think it poses less of a risk of denting the leather with the tool.

Tool was good quality. Rivets were decent too.I made a good strong repair with them.Plastic case was broken on end where the heavy tool slammed.Adding foam packing to keep tool from moving during shipping would help.

Tooling works great not a complaint about it but some information about using and cutting off if they are too long would have been helpful from the start and not figuring it out on my own after using it a while. But still a good deal for the price.

NICE RIVET SET WITH PUNCH AND STEEL TOOL FOR INSTALLING AND PEENING. The STEEL TOOL IS HIGHLY POLISHED AND HEAVY DUTY.

In maybe 6 attempts, I got the brass burrs to work well exactly once. I had several failed attempts to seat brass burrs on the brass posts, and the same result with the brass burrs on the copper posts. The posts would deform and collapse before the burr would expand enough to move down the post.The copper posts and burrs worked fine. Copper burrs on brass posts worked fine. Measured diameter of the posts and burr holes are the same for all materials. But brass is a harder material, and in this case the burrs are too hard to deform sufficiently to consistently work well.The punch and setting tool are the quality you'd expect at this price point.

A nice selection for the price. There is a learning curve with all this type rivet, especially used on webbing straps; but just a matter of 3-4 practice attempts.
