Breastfeeding had not come totally easy for us, my son's latch was OK but I had to have an emergency c-section and was limited on the types of holds I could manage. When we got home, I couldn't adjust very well to making the holds work without pillow assistance - it felt important to me to keep trying as my son genuinely seemed to prefer breastmilk to the formula and I wanted him to have the best of both options. We managed to get back to the breast a few weeks later but I was needing to hunch over to do football hold + other pillows like the boppi were doing nothing to help. I read reviews suggesting this pillow was a game changer and really wanted something that would make breastfeeding more comfortable. And wow what a difference! No more awkwardly hunching over, Baby could rest comfortably on the pillow while feeding and I could hold him for longer periods after feeds far more comfortably. Feeds became sessions I enjoyed and the soft minky material was super comfy for baby too. There was many a time where he would finish a feed and contentedly enjoy a milk-drunk snooze on the pillow. Perfectly balanced so I could hold him but check my phone or watch something in comfort. Now we both enjoyed breastfeeding time and I looked forward to the nights when I could feed and watch something low stimulating in the wee hours. The material has been easy to wash and still super soft after, the memory foam holds well. About the only minor issue with this one over the other versions is the strap being velcro instead of a clip. The velcro is starting to fray after 3 months use now but still holds mostly OK. Though at this point baby is starting to outgrow the pillow a bit at 4 months (in fairness - he's grown quick!) The part of the pillow that holds the baby has like little "mounds" on the left and right side that help keep baby stable once in position. This helps way more than you think it might! This puchase was absolutely worth it and helped make breastfeeding both enjoyable as well as satisfying. Thank you My Breast Friend!

I can actually relax my muscles during feedings now. • Thoughtful extras: I also love the little pocket — sounds silly, but being able to stash burp cloths, nipple cream, or even my phone there has saved me from getting up and down repeatedly (which, with back issues, is a huge deal). Bottom line: If you have chronic back pain or spinal issues and you’re breastfeeding, this is not just a nice-to-have — it’s a must-have. It has allowed me to nurse comfortably, bond with my baby, and protect my body during recovery. I genuinely don’t know how I would have made it through the early weeks without it. This pillow isn’t just support for your baby — it’s support for you, too. I highly, highly recommend it.

The Brest Friend Pillow was recommended to me by my lactation consultant, and I’m so glad I listened. The support it provides is incredible. It has made breastfeeding so much easier and more comfortable for both me and my son. The firm foam keeps him perfectly positioned without sinking, which has helped reduce strain on my arms, shoulders, and back during longer nursing sessions. The cover is also a big plus. It’s very soft and comfortable against the skin, which matters a lot when you’re using it multiple times a day. Overall, the pillow feels thoughtfully designed and extremely supportive without being stiff or uncomfortable. My only downside is that it can make me feel a little warm while nursing, especially during longer sessions. That said, the comfort and support far outweigh that small issue, and I still reach for it every single time. I would absolutely recommend the Brest Friend Pillow to any breastfeeding parent looking for solid support and an easier nursing experience.

I wish I had this from day 1 in the hospital!!! Before I go into my experience, let me just tell you why. It might look really rigid and gimmicky, but once you use this pillow you realize how much thought was put into this design. The cushion is firm so that you can position your baby easily without him accidentally shifting or slipping into gaps, or even falling off. The lumbar support really does help with comfort. And the belt makes it super convenient so YOU can also move around without ruining baby’s latch and positioning. Also inside the cover there’s a plastic cover so you don’t have to worry about cleaning the cushion. I’m a first time mom who was blindsided by how difficult breastfeeding is. You think you know before giving birth, but you really don’t!! I put off getting this because I’m frugal, only getting the essentials. So I thought I could make do with just reusing my pregnancy pillow and bed pillows while nursing. It was a struggle because the pillows would slowly shift around and baby’s little body would start slipping into gaps. And fixing it alone was even harder, with a baby in your arms and all. Finally I decided to go with this one because my lactation consultant was using the original My Brest Friend in her office. I realized it was very comfy and super helpful in positioning. Breastfeeding is hard enough, just get this. It’s such a game-changer. If not this one then get the original, it’s just as good, I only got the deluxe because it’s slightly bigger. I don’t know everyone’s situation, but personally this is my most important breastfeeding item. I thought it would almost set me back but it’s been worth every penny. Btw I’m 5’ 5” and around 280 lbs. Idk my waist measurements but I am bottom heavy and I use this with the belt almost as tight as possible. Yeah I like it pretty snug. Works just fine.

My NICU baby was a month premature and only 5lbs 2oz. Being such a little bub, this pillow was a great tool to elevate him and help us on our breastfeeding journey. It's firm, but not too hard and was easy to wash the cover as needed. I appreciated the back support and the pocket to place a rag or my phone. I ended up tipping the ends on the armrests of my chair to help keep him elevated (he had excessive spit up issues that may have been related to dairy in my diet or prematurity). Although he outgrew it after awhile it was worth the investment and helped me to exclusively breastfeed.

Love this pillow! I didn’t use it for first few weeks after baby was born because my c-section belly was too tender and lactation specialist at hospital said to wait a bit to use it and to hold baby instead. Once she got heavier and it was too hard to hold her up evenly I started using it and it was a game changer. It provides great support and is super helpful. I highly recommend the fabric of the waterproof organic oat colored cover over the ones that are thicker and almost look more velvety in general. Have had a few diaper leaks over time while nursing and baby was on pillow and it’s very hard to tell if the velvet like material is wet or just brushed in another direction. Isn’t fun to discover it is in fact wet with baby pee in the middle of the night while nursing and switching sides. Covers are washable but line dry only that is my biggest complaint about them. If they were dryer friendly that would be a game changer. We are washing and drying them most of the time and taking the risk and they have shrunk. We just don’t have time to wait for them to line dry if there’s a leak. We now have 3 covers, the organic oat, the gray one that looks velvety and the green one. I try not to use the gray one unless needed and we had two leaks in 24 hours when sizing up diapers so that’s how I ended up ordering the green one. This pillow has been worth every penny and I highly recommend it!

Second time purchase of this nursing pillow! For my first pregnancy I had a boppy and the Brest friend. I had a c-section and found the Brest friend to be way more supportive in keeping baby off of my incision! There are some changes between the 2024 version and 2026 version. Most notably the plastic liner has been removed but the cover now has a water proof lining. Personally I wish they kept the waterproof plastic liner as an additional backup to protect the foam from getting wet, but I think the cover upgrade is awesome. Con is that the pillow shipped with the back partially folded in which distorted the foam. It took 2 weeks to regain its shape but finally feels like it’s structurally the same as my OG pillow. I needed to buy a replacement for my OG pillow because the foam ended up tearing where the back rest connects to the front platform. Was hoping to see some additional reinforcement in that area to help reduce the strain, but it does not appear to be any different. When this arrive the foam on the back support

UPDATED EDIT— I bought another one just to see if it was a fluke and the quality is even WORSE!!! It’s only been barely 4 months and the foam is breaking off into little pieces everywhere! And the top part of the foam is literally ripping in half! Not only is this a MAJOR CHOKING HAZARD, it’s awful quality! I couldn’t figure out where this mystery foam was even coming from at first— I finally realized it was this pillow, tried opening it up to wash the cover for the first time ever and foam was everywhere. It’s definitely Impossible to ever wash it a second time. (I’ll put a disclaimer here too— I treat all my stuff I own really well). Also, the CUSTOMER SERVICE is NON-EXSISTENT— so don’t expect them to stand behind their products, no one ever reached out after my first review months ago. Go with the momcozy as the best equivalent for half the price! I have two Brestfriends, , one mom cozy and a hoppy for reference. DO NOT PURCHASE! This product is defective as the Velcro stops working after hardly any use! This must be a manufacturing defect— but unacceptable with an 85$ price tag attached to it. Purchased this at the recommendation of my lactation consultant and thought it was the best on the market until this issue. Hopefully, the company reaches out and makes it right or I will be letting my lactation consultant know to stop recommending it to her practice! I want to love this as it’s unique to the market.

This is a must have for any breastfeeding mothers - especially if you have a c-section and/or have larger breast. You don’t have to mess around with cushion/pillows and it’s so so comfortable for baby as well. Love it! Wish I had it for my first baby but better late than never.

Das Stillkissen ist einfach nur super und hat meine Stillreise gerettet. Vorallem mit großen Brüsten erleichtert es das Anlegen enorm.

Es cara pero 100% lo vale. Probé varias almohadas distintas y esta es la única que ha hecho mi lactancia mucho más sencilla y agradable. Ayuda con la postura (del bebé y tuya), permite un mejor agarre desde el inicio, tiene soporte para la espalda y puedes guardar el celular y la crema para pezones (imprescindible) en una bolsita. La recomiendo totalmente.

Easy to use!

Exactly as it looks in the pictures. The pillow is very sturdy but not too hard, and is waterproof. Comes with a handy storage case and it was ready to use straight away. The lumbar support is fantastic, I can't believe I went 4 months without getting one. Never looking back at that wacky stack of pillows I used to use for feeding!
