Fellowes really stands behind their brand!
I was looking for a keyboard drawer for my new sit/stand desk and did a lot of research. There are a lot of options out there with prices that range from $20 to $100. I was drawn to this keyboard drawer because of its small footprint. My new mobile desk is pretty narrow. I liked the pull out mouse pad that came with this drawer, since it allows me to set my keyboard and mouse at the same level. The fact the drawer is a Fellowes brand product was a bonus for me. I've used lots of their office supplies and computer accessories at work and I knew they had quality products. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the tray. It is really sturdy! Based on the low price, I expected it to feel cheap. It really doesn't. The slides are on ball bearings and move easily. The little mouse tray can be easily moved to either side depending on whether you are a leftie or a righty. There was plenty of room for my keyboard, with an adjustable stop at the back of the drawer to hold it snuggly. Even though the installation instructions were clear and easy, I made a stupid decision to adjust the position of the drawer by removing two of the tiny mounting screws that hold the slides to the desk mounts. The weight of the drawer tweaked the left slide and broke it. AAAGGHH! I was so excited to use my new drawer. I couldn't believe I wrecked it so quickly. I sent an email to Fellowes to see if I could buy a new slide. Unfortunately they don't stock supplies for such a small item. Their customer service representative was so excellent though! She found me a slide and mailed it to me within days - even though it was my fault. They really stand behind their brand! I knew I couldn't go wrong with Fellowes. I strongly recommend this drawer (and all of their products) for home or business use.

very sturdy and easy to install
i’ve had my desk for a number of years now and it holds two systems so there is always two keyboards on top. three if you count the midi keyboard but i digress. i recently got the bug to consolidate space so i started looking for a keyboard drawer. apparently they have easy ones that you can clamp to the edge of the desk but i wanted the old style keyboard drawer. this looked to be stylistic and durable and it includes a sliding mouse tray. installation was easy peasy lemon squeezy. and i didn’t have to flip my desk over. it was pretty simple to do. sliding action is smooth and it works well. love it.

Great for the price, but plastic mounts could be improved.
Used this for 4.5 years on my standing desk and it has met my needs well. The product is great for the price, though I would appreciate if the mounts were metal instead of plastic. Two recommended modifications if you purchase: 1. Mouse area was too small for me. I affixed a larger/thicker/sturdier mousepad on top of it and that works better. 2. The mounts to the desk and tray are plastic and have broken multiple times at the connection to the desk. I was fixing it with superglue but it kept happening and I replaced them with 2.5" corner braces and that is much sturdier.

Things to consider
Great budget piece The main target for this product are 1. Students, who have textbooks, pages, and notebooks on the desk, and 2. People whose monitors / screens are pretty close to the edge of the desk and they could use a little room to lean back, get some distance from the screen, and type on the keyboard and fit something else in front of the monitor, like a snack, beverage, or what-not. This is made of plastic. The guides and connectors are metal, but the tray is not. If you are willing to spend more, you can get the whole thing out of metal, and I wouldn't be as afraid of scratching or damaging it. It needs to come down lower. You're going to want to find some wood spacers half inch to an inch if you want to use it without pulling it out all the way. It's a little gummy at the end of the track when you pull it out all the way. This means that it is quiet, but it also means that it's not very satisfying when you've pulled it out completely, and gets a little stuck there if you tug on it. If you already have a spacious desk space, I think you'll end up using this like a little drawer, which is fine. It's just more natural and convenient to have the keyboard on top of the desk most of the time. This just gives you a choice. The installation wasn't too difficult for me because I put it on a standing desk, but if it is a cramped space underneath it, maybe it wouldn't be as easy.

It's a tray and it seems to work well for now.
My previous under desk keyboard tray broke after many years of use. Got this to replace it and it was easy enough to install. It is cheap plastic so don't expect too much from it but it should hold up over time.

An Aggravating Experience With Decent Results And 'Okay' Quality
When I thought to write this review, I wasn't really sure what to write. I thought when I first purchased this that it would be as simple as getting the Keyboard drawer and that would be it, but there's a fair amount of frustration I had that made me almost throw this stupid overrated piece of sliding plastic at the wall. To warn readers before going into this, I didn't use this as a keyboard and mouse drawer. Honestly, it would be both uncomfortable to use as such and it's size makes it rather unwieldy to even consider using it for its' actual intended purpose. No. Instead, we used this fora cheap Midi keyboard. As a budding audiophile and picky on how my setup looks, I wanted something that would allow me to use my Midi keyboard that could be put away quickly and was close to my desk. This fit both criteria. As for the product itself, it was aggravating to assemble. Never having ordered a keyboard drawer, we assumed safely that the size of the box indicated this was already pieced together and simply required us to install on onto the bottom side of the desk. This wasn't even remotely the case with parts scrambled together and an extremely poor and rather pathetic set of instructions. What I assumed would be a ten minute job took an hour just understanding the directions. The directions are both annoying to understand and I'm still unsure if we used the right screws. All the essential parts were in the box, but the contents included extra screws of ones we didn't need extras for, and not enough screws for the ones we needed. The pictures indicating which screw was which was stupid, and it's unclear what some of the pictures are indicating in terms of screws and their quantity, since we received more or less of each than what the 'manual' (an overrated pentathlete) indicated. After assembling the monstrosity, we realized it also didn't include screws to attach the drawer to the desk. We luckily have a fairly large box of screws just lying around, but this should be something for the buyer to consider. After it was finally assembled and screwed in I can confirm that it does as intended for my purpose and (so long as you don't use the keyboard and mouse often) this may not be terrible for that purpose as well. At least, it would be if not for the flimsy 'it feels as cheap as possible' extending mouse pad. Unless you plan to use the mouse on the desk and the keyboard underneath, I feel safe in saying that our method for what we were using it for might be the preferred reason to purchase this. As a final note, we also wanted to mention that due to the grid-style texture on the drawer, we couldn't get any of our actual keyboards to lay flat unless we folded their feet inwards. Overall, it's a cheap keyboard drawer that serves our purpose well, but it's frustrating quality and assembly process will leave many looking for a higher priced, higher quality drawer. If you want this for the purpose we used it for, you'll find it's perfectly adequate.

PERFECT!!
Wow. I can't tell people how great this keyboard tray is. It went together quickly and easily. It is really sturdy when pulled out for use. It has the mouse tray and it also is sturdy. I am fortunate that I don't need to slide the mouse tray in when I push if under the desk, so the mouse can stay where it is, on the tray. It fits my keyboard perfectly with a few inches to spare on sides and back. It has a nice slide at the back so you can push it forward if needed to help keep the keyboard from moving. It has ridges where the keyboard sits so that keeps it steady also. It has the front rest for your wrists to rest on while you type. I find it very comfortable and a nice feature. I really can't stress enough how happy I am with this keyboard. I did my measuring before ordering it so I knew that everything would fit on it and that it would fit where I needed it. It's a pleasant experience to actually get a quality product for an affordable price.

Great support from customer service
Great product for the money, good value. Company support is premium. I had one at least two years, the left front bent and I had to put treat it gently to work. I was about to buy a different type from another mfr, about twice the cost. I decided to call them to say what went wrong and the approximate time I purchased. I sent a couple of pictures then they told me I'd receive a new tray within a few days and I did. I didn't have to prove my purchase. Very supportive customer service, no arguing over a $37.00 purchase. I wish more companies would respect their customer's time.

Avoid : Not even close to what it looks in picture
Product i recieved was made from cheap plastic mould, no finishing, different look and fragile. Its hardly worth 800 bucks (against charging 3k) , and actually useless. Good that i could return it. Avoid it.

Good key board drawer
Works great. Easy to install. On my desk I had to turn it upside down so I can accurately line it up correctly and screw it on to the underneath of the table. Well built solid construction. Would I buy this one again? YES.
