2011 Mercedes SL: Worked better than expected. Plug and play, instructions are precise and easy to follow. Works on iPhone 📲 playlist, Pandora, and Spotify. Shows songs titles, artist etc on Mercedes Comand screen and speedometer dash, the steering wheel controls work Just as described to control listening choices. Stays nicely hidden in the center armrest- no crazy, or obtrusive wires to see. Couldn’t be more pleased.

The device works as advertised. It works so well in fact that I felt compelled to make a review. I have tried several Bluetooth adapters and many have compromises in audio quality, or strange behavior. I have to say, this device really delivers. My favorite attribute of the device is how quickly it powers on and reestablishes connection. It is faster than the Bluetooth phone pairing (for calls) that is part of the vehicle. Track controls, and auto-pause/resume work better than any other unit I have tried. Mercedes-Benz S550. Tested with SiriusXM app, Qobuz, and generic internet radio feeds all on Android phone.

This product plugged right into the port and connected easily. I can now listen to my streaming music when I drive, perfect solution to older technology of my Mercedes. Make sure you get the correct one for your application, they all look alike!

I currently have the Carpro Coolstream plugged into the media interface. It works reasonably well (perfect for Apple Music, but if you want to listen to a podcast or youtube talking head, you need to first have apple music start, then press play on the podcast or youtube to be able to listen via the car stereo speakers). So reading the description of the 3000A, I was exited that it offered a "general" mode, where I don't have to listen to music and save distracting clicking around while driving. But, unfortunately, it does not work in my setup. As I have the Coolstream working fine before and after I tried, I know it is not the car-side... Pairing with the iPhone was fast , but no sound came to the stereo, not in "Apple Music" mode and not in "General" mode. I followed exactly the included instructions, spent over half an hour trying to get it to work. It is a good looking device, just not for the W164/NTG 2.5 media interface, so this post is mainly to avoid people in a similar situation to order it and to have to send it back, like I have to. Installed in a 2013 A4 with the Audi Concert system. Phone is a 2022 iPhone SE. Works well with YouTube Music and Pandora apps. Only negatives are 1) when skipping to the next song the song stops, restarts again for 1 second (or less), and then starts the next song 2) what is shown on the screen isn't totally accurate. Tip - it takes a few seconds to pair and start playing (if the music app you're using is open from when you left the car) each time you get in the car - to speed that up unlock the car or open the trunk when you're still a little ways away. It will start the process when the car is "woken up" so when you start it up there is a minimal delay.

The SLK 2016 is not coming with Bluetooth for music. It’s only connecting for phone calls. I was using a lightning cable that connect to the media to play my Apple Music. With this solution I’m able to connect and play my play lists easily it’s very comfortable and automatically connect. I was not sure if to buy it or not due to the mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. So far it’s working great and I do not experience any disconnections. It’s a great solution for 2016 Mercedes using iphone. In case of any issues I’ll update the review. So far it’s 5 starts!

Not sure why I waited so long to order this as I had been contemplating it for months. Super easy to install, sound is great and so nice to be able to tune in to playlists and podcasts through the speakers! The playlists even show up on the dash board so I can operate without having to touch my phone!! Go for it!

I was able to use in my Audi MMI 2G high system without any issues. Now I’ve been using it for more than two years. It can even display the song which is being played, and I can skip this song using car’s built-in controls.
