WeightedWarmth Extra-Wide Heating Pad, 3.5 lb, 6 Settings

This brand's heating pads are the only ones I buy anymore. They don't have that terrible "plastic-covered heating pad inside a fabric case" thing that most do (and deform and squish and generally don't cooperate long term). They're a nice soft fuzzy fabric, and the size of this one is huge. I have the size that is as long but narrower too, which is WONDERFUL for leaning against at my desk chair or on the couch when my back aches (which is often!). I have a lot of back issues, and often my back pain is pretty bad when I get up in the morning. Sitting against this at my desk, without any added medication, usually has it feeling 95% better within an hour or less. And, unlike most any other brand I've found, you can turn off the "auto off in 90 minutes" so it stays on as long as you want it to. At it's highest level (6), it's very nicely hot without scorching, I wouldn't need it any hotter. I have used these for many years, and eventually after a few years of heavy use, they may die, but it is ABSOLUTELY WORTH replacing them every few years for the price and quality. I just moved to Costa Rica from the US, and bought several backups to bring with us so that when the ones in current rotation eventually die, we'll have backups on hand without waiting for our next trip back to the US. Best brand of heating pads EVER!

Works as advertised. Sorta heavy and still slides down in roll

The description specifically says microplush is on BOTH sides of heating pad, which is why I chose this model over the other PURE heating pads. The photos only show the thick soft "microplush" side, but that is not the side that has the heating coils. The bottom side, only has an ordinary thin soft fabric, not a thick plush velour like the top shown in the photos, but that bottom side is the side you need to put against you to feel the full heat of the settings. The plush fabric (top) side shown in the pics does not transmit the full heat - it becomes mildly warm, while the other side is what reaches the full warmth of whatever setting you select. It is a good heating pad as far as that it warms up for different settings well, the switch is really easy to use, & it appears to be well made. But to me, the weight along with the large size ends up feeling kind of unwieldy to place where you need the heat (leg, for hip & knee coverage) because the heating coils don't actually cover the whole 20'X24", they're in a central area with a really wide margin around them so it's not like being a larger size heating pad actually gets you more coverage area - it just gives you that weight. I was eager to try this out as soon as I received it yesterday thinking I was getting much better coverage & plusher fabric than my old 12X24 heating pad. BUT, I may return it because of not being what I expected.

Update 4/12/26: they replaced my heating pad after my original 1 star review. After thinking I should update this review to be happier with them since they replaced the product, the remote has done the SAME EXACT THING. I am officially done with this brand. I am in chronic pain and I can't have a heating pad that the remotes go out every so many months. I wish I could give this a 0/5 stars. The cords on this brand seems to give the blinking light of death. Second one to give out on me. Gave this brand a second chance in case the first one was just due to old age. I do really love that it is weighted, but having the cord go out on me in less than a year isn't great for someone like me with chronic pain. I hope they can fix the cord issue. Will be going with another brand for the next one.

So far so good. At this point I would buy again. The material is soft. The buttons are a little loud when you push on them but not horrible. The weight is perfect. I wish it was a little more rectangular but again still works good and I like that it has both auto shut off and continuos.

This is the third Pure Enrichment Weighted Heating Pad that I have purchased. I had one for about a year and it just quit. I tried every suggestion for resetting the remote, but nothing worked. I was disappointed in this problems, but didn’t get much assistance from Pure Enrichment. I like the heating pads, but I expect the product to last longer.

I absolutely love this weighted heating pad! I use this pad every day on my thigh muscles. The weight offers just enough pressure to make me feel calm and dos wonders to help ease the cramps my muscles experiences. This is my second one of these and I do like the control of the original one better - it was more simplified and less buttons. Size is perfect to lay over both legs and heat levels are nice!

So far I am really enjoying my pure enrichment weighted extra wide heating pad. When they say extra wide they mean extra wide, it’s big and I love that. I usually buy the non weighted heating pads that pure enrichment makes but I got this one on prime day and was a really good price. I have had a few different heating pads by this company, I always buy the extra large as I have failed back surgeries and need the loosen my back muscles. I appreciate that you can get the heating pad higher in heat, I am picky when it comes to needing a heating pad that is strong enough to penetrate my back pain. I have the shoulder heating pad that pure enrichment makes as well but unfortunately it stopped working. My only concern/complaint is the heating pads don’t last me 5 years as the warranty states. I have contacted pure enrichment over a heating pad that died on my 2 years in and they did send me a replacement so I feel confident in their customer service. The pad is soft and thick enough not to have the wires poking into my skin which is also important to me. I don’t like the old school heating pads that are stiff and uncomfortable. This does the job for my pain relief.
