I just finished installing a cork bulletin board on the wall behind my computer desk at home. It looks perfect. I ordered the Manton Cork 4' x 4' by 1/2" thick rolled sheet of cork. The product is outstanding in quality. It is super easy to push pins into and, at 1/2" thick, there is no risk of having tacks too long to stick into the cork. I had previously tried using 1'x1' cork sheets that were 1/4" thick to make my bulletin board and used the double sided adhesive tape to install. It was a disaster. 1) there was no way to neatly trim that many pieces without it looking terrible. 2) the adhesive tape holds the cork away from the wall meaning that the cork is not flush. 1/4" thick is not thick enough - most tacks go right though and hit the drywall behind. FInally, the little tiles started falling after about a month. So...order this cork from Manton and FOLLOW their instructions for mounting. I ordered their recommended adhesive and trowel from Amazon, cut my two large pieces and voila: a PERFECT wall of soft, thick cork for my bulletins. One final note, cork is a natural product and will dry out and crack if you're not careful. Once you receive the cork, unbox it right away and carefully lie flat so that it does not crack. Manton doesn't tell you to do this but they should as the cork will eventually crack if it's not stored flat and/or installed right away. Manton offered outstanding customer service and helped me the whole way. You can go to their website to see installation instructions and the specific adhesive they recommend. Next time I need a large sheet of cork, Manton is my go-to!

Worked great for my cork board project. Kind of a pain to unroll and keep flat, but otherwise pretty good product.

I would not order this product!First: The cork will come rolled up tightly. I had 60 pound weights on each corner with a weight bench down the middle for a week. When I took it all off it rolled mostly back the way it was shipped.Second: NO RETURN policy. When I told Amazon about it, Manton agreed to refund money if I shipped back but it will cost you more than you pay to ship it via UPS. They quoted me over $100 plus the box to ship it back. So this is one of those products that if you don't like it, you're pretty much stuck with it.Third: I live in Colorado where it's dry. The cork became pretty brittle almost within the first couple of weeks.BOTTOM LINE: AVOID. Go to a local place to buy your cork.

I purchased this sheet of cork to mount a map. I was hesitant about paying almost $90 for 4'x4'x1/2" cork, but I'm glad I did. The cork is great quality and resilient. While measuring the thickness I came up with just a touch under 9/16", and it's 4'x4' on the money. Now I just need something sturdy to mount the cork to so I can put my map pins in.

Great product for sound proofing a window area.

It was so tightly rolled that there’s a large crack down the middle of the piece. And a couple of other small cracks.
