KONNWEI KW206 Car OBD2 HUD Digital Meter Gauge All in One Automotive Trip Computer Smart OBD Speedometer Water Temperature Fuel Pressure Tester for All 2003 and Newer Cars

I bought one of these for my two trucks 04 and 96 rangers worked in both of them. I've only had it for a few days so far so I don't know how durable it is, but it seems to work good. It has a lot of different settings, so you can adjust a lot of things. It didn't really want to work at first in the 96, but you can manually make it hook up. And it works fine now. I also had to adjust the voltage 2 2 get it to shut off when I turn the car off but besides that, it works great, everything is really accurate and worked well i'm impressed so far.

This thing is awesome! I'm impressed with it so far. It works perfectly with a Crown Vic Interceptor. Some of the reviews I've seen where it malfunctions seem like they were made by people who tried to use this device in a car with an incompatible computer system. If you have an OBD II system at least up until 2011 (my car is a 2011), it should work The device is very accurate in terms of the speedometer and tach. The moment I hooked it up, I started getting readings I didn't know my car measured, such as air intake temperature, just to name one If you want the most out of your vehicle, I highly recommend this product. Just a heads up, initial hook will take a few minutes for the device to scan and determine what kind of sytem you have. And, at least for me, to enable sleep mode, I have to keep the key in the ignition until after the countdown finishes. Then the device will reboot with the logo. After that I can take the key out and it will do another countdown until going into sleep mode. Other cars or trucks may cause it to operate differently in this regard. Oh, and not to mention as a bonus, this device and scan for and clear out engine fault codes. The device also has very good build quality, and there's a slight weight to it, still lighter than a samsung galaxy phone, for example. EDIT: I've used the device for over a week now and it still works fine. It's accurate and timely. There's no lag in any of the readouts. For the sleep mode, I discovered you can just shut the car off and take the key out. It may do the countdown and reboot a few times, but it will eventually just go into sleep mode without you having to do anything else. Also, I did order an extra phone holder as the double-sided tape on the devices stand is not strong enough to hold up on a window for too long. This is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall quality of the product

7/21/21 So, I had bought this since my car (a 2008 Toyota Prius, don't hate me), lacks certain instrument readouts that some other vehicles do, or just don't show up on the main instrument cluster, ie: RPM or engine temperature. So, I had bought this product partly for those reasons, and, it has so far satisfied me. I haven't been able to really test the item extensively due to me getting it just a few hours ago, or today, when I type this, but, I am pretty sure that I'll update this review as time goes by. I definitely enjoy seeing what my engine RPM is, and this item I do feel like will get the job done, the question(s) is (are) will it be a reliable product and how long will it last for me. 7/26/21 So, having this just short of about a full week, I found that it'll be quick to reboot sometimes, that was for a few days, I was looking through my screen shots and noticed I took one of someone asking if there was a way to have it shut off for a start/stop vehicle when they shut their car down due to them being worried about it draining the battery down and someone mentioned about going into the settings and setting the start voltage to 13.5 volts, so I did. That does seem to have largely midegated the problem, but, it still reboots once in a while, it will do it when I go to turn my car on, I'm not sure if it is because of voltage fluctuations when turning on or what, but, hey. A few days after I got it, I hooked it up to my grandfather's friend's vehicle that does have a rpm guage, it seems to be like the kennwei rpm guage is about 500 or so rpm slower. While my grandfather's friend's vehicle was reporting about 1,200 rpm, the kennwei was reporting about 700 to 800 rpm, I'm not sure if that was just because of the vehicle reporting wrong or the kennwei was reporting wrong, I haven't tested which it is yet. 8/27/21 So, I was contacted by konnwei on my Amazon account message board, and pretty sure they mentioned about bringing the start voltage up to 14.5 volts to try to stop the device from rebooting (I think), it had the opposite effect, even sometimes shutting down while I was driving down the road. So, I think I dropped the voltage down to 13.8 volts, and eventually down to 13 volts, and seems to have mitigated the issue, but still does reboot. I noticed that, say I went 10 miles, that the device would be off about 1/2 a mile or more of total mileage traveled. I had mentioned to konnwei about the brightness and the reflection in the windshield in times of when the day transitions into nighttime, asking them if they could put out a update and/or if they had a type of hood that could mitigate or fix that issue, and, they mentioned that they had passed the feedback to their team. 5/7/22 I bought another one of these after I didn't have one for a while, and I received it yesterday (as of this part of the review), and, the one I have now seems to be a bit better as of right now in terms of not rebooting as frequently.

Not great. Got it to keep an eye on temps ,live data and the like. It did OK for a few days ,then I started to get a stutter. I figured my spark plugs are due, tried to pull up a pending code and nope nothing. Installed my other obd2, boom a code pending. If this thing can't even do a simple obd2 check, it's not worth keeping. I truly had to go through 3 pages just to pull up odb2 data. Pretty horrendous if you ask me. It's a horrible paper weight that might tell you correct temps ,idle RPMs and your speed. Returned as it wasnt worth the headache anymore. Went with a scangauge as ,you get what you pay for.

My wife drives a Chevy Sonic that has one of those terrible displays that shows very little live ECU data. A previous owner had chipped out the check engine and oil pressure lights from the dash, so an oil consumption issue (poorly engineered engine) caused it to run down to a half quart of oil and fry the piston rings. I tore apart the dash and discovered the chipped out diodes, and replaced the dash. It still didn't have much info. I replaced the engine (my wife loves the car) and apparently didn't connect a coolant hose to the heater core correctly. It was probably driven 150 miles until the hose popped off and sprayed coolant all over the engine. Thankfully, I pulled up to a stoplight and saw the steam. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I was driving and it was blowing under the car. I would have had no idea that the engine was heating up until the check engine light popped on, because it didn't have a temperature gauge. This device not only gives a live display of the coolant temp (and multiple other data feeds), but you can set an alarm to go off if a data stream exceeds a set value. It should not be a needed device, as the car manufacture should make a dash that displays this useful data, but this little thing works quite well. The alarm gives me peace of mind that my wife should catch issues before they become drastic, and the live data readout is nice for when I am working on or diagnosing problems. It saves me having to bring my code reader from my other vehicle. All-in-all, this device is a great value. 2 YEAR UPDATE This thing still works great. It is able to read OBD II codes, but won't clear them. I've only tried it on one car, so it may be related to the make/model. If I need to, I just use my code reader to clear a code. For live data display, it works great. It turns on and off with the car and provides a good display for helpful data.

Man, this is my all time favorite purchase off Amazon. I was chasing an issue with my temp Guage on my 96 Jeep XJ. They are known to run hot. I had bought an IR thermometer to keep a check until I could figure out my issue. A friend suggested an OBD scanner. I did a little research and decided for the price I'd give this a shot. It's A LOT cheaper than what I'd already spent trying to fix my gauge. This thing is as simple to use as it gets. Plug it in, set what you want, and it does its thing. It's small enough to not take up room, yet the display is easy to see at a glance. You can even set alarm points in case the temp does start to get too high. Now the only thing I need my dash for is the fuel gauge. AND....I can scan my Jeep for codes, and clear them when the issue is fixed.

The listings says this gauge will display "up to 95 parameters" depending on the vehicle it's used on, so I assumed it could read any PID the ECM offers. A scanner can read both boost and EGT on my 2016 diesel pickup, but this gauge won't give an option for either of those. It only shows about 20 different parameters on my truck and some of them are useless to me, like liters/hr and gallons of fuel used since startup. The gauge can display MAP pressure (which is boost plus atmospheric pressure), but when I select the readout to be in psi instead of kpa, it only changes the label to psi and doesn't actually convert the numbers. Good thing Amazon takes free returns!

I love this thing. I was able to set it up easy and mount it to my car. Wasn't sure if it would stick to the rough surface of my dashboard but it seems to be hanging on fine. I bought it mainly to keep tabs on my speed as I didn't want to distract myself looking down at the Odometer/Speedometer. I can now take quick glances at my dashboard and its super easy on the eyes, numbers are very large which is a win for me,in a big way, honestly as I don't have perfect vision and it stays bright and visible even on sunny days which is great because glare can really ruin visibility on most LED screens. Everyone who has seen this tells me how much they like it and want to get one. I'd say go for it, you won't be disappointed in its features. I also like how it does a countdown and shuts off once the engine is cut, that way you know your battery isn't getting depleted with it being plugged in.
