So far so good! Not happy about their pricing fluctuations though.One day it's $9.99 USD and the next it's $11+?Don't play the BS price gouging game. Create loyalty through consistency. A couple more bucks per purchase is never worth breaking trust with a customer who loves your product.Back to the review part, I'm typically prone to seasonal cold sores, and stress or sun induced fever blisters that tend to start up monthly, it seems. I've been using this lip balm with no other treatment for about 3 months now (multiple times per day application) and NO tingle, no breakouts. I'm ecstatic!There's nothing worse than feeling the tingle and you can't do anything about it for a good while, only to feel a sore break within an hour or so after that--one that could've been stopped at the tingle...I'd say this WORKS, but, again, not too fond of the sellers' pricing fluctuations.I keep seeing it and I'll likely look elsewhere for a similar product. Not that I'm unwilling to pay $11+ per month to prevent cold sores/fever blisters, but I sure hate feeling of "oh crap, I need to buy a bunch now before they raise their prices again!"Trust... Please don't break mine, Seller.

I can’t speak to how well this works because I’m never using it again, but the texture is all wrong. It won’t glide like any other lip balm- this goes beyond a “wax like” texture. It’s almost like a goopy hardened Elmer’s glue stick. I don’t have a cold sore currently but if I did, this would have pulled and tugged on my lip (bc again- not smooth or emollient at all) and would have been uncomfortable and painful. Don’t buy

I was a big Burt’s Bees fan prior to purchasing the AverteaX lip balm, but after trying this product, I won’t go back. Unlike other balms that sit on your lips like a waxy paste, the AverteaX goes on light gets absorbed and actually moisturizes your lips. I really noticed the difference when my tube was done and I went back to B.B. As for lip protection, I wore it skiing and didn’t have any issue with my lips drying or cracking. I was very pleased with the product and will definitely order again.

I was very hopeful for this product. I had been using it religiously for a few weeks and I still started to get the tingle / blister of a cold sore. I immediately put on Basic Organics L-Lysine and thankfully that stopped it from going any further. I was almost relieved that I didn't have to keep using this since it really tastes horrible. I believe this works for some people and am very happy for them, but not for me unfortunately.

This lip balm made my lips very soft but it does not work to prevent cold sores, at least on me. I used this every night in the hopes of not waking up to a dreaded cold sore, but I still got one. I'm glad it works for others but I can't say that it works for me.

Feels nice on your lips unlike other cold sore chapsticks - doesn't feel gritty or too thick. Starting using it when I had a cold sore in the scab stage so unable to give a review if it works as a preventative but I am hopeful!

seems to work. pleased that I'm not getting cold sores as easily, which I attribute to this product. Will keep purchasing.

I must have gotten an old product, because it was all lumpy and not at all easy to apply. I ended up throwing it away. I get cold sores during the winter and was looking forward to having something that would help. Not sure I would order again. Very disappointed.
