My dogs like it
My dogs love Veggiedents, so to have the Zen version is even better! I haven’t noticed an obvious change in attitude for the two pups, but it is technically a supplement so I know it takes time to work. I’m just glad they like the taste, and I know it helps their teeth. Oral care is very important!

My dog loves this treat
Sometimes he gets two a day. Have no idea if it helps to keep his teeth clean. As I also finger brush his teeth at night.

Healthful Dental Treat Approved by the VOHC
My elderly, small-breed dog loves these semi-soft dental chews, though, she's missing some teeth. I've purchased every type of Veggident for her and she scarfs them down...was hoping they'd keep her busy for more than three minutes, but, I'm happy there are dental enzymes at work when she's done. I usually take her water up for just a couple of minutes so that after she's finished the enzymes can do their job, but always put her water back down soon after so she can drink (super important for dogs to have access to fresh, clean water in a clean bowl at all times). The primary downside to these dental treats is the exorbitantly high cost per bag, but these treats are listed on the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) list of Accepted Products for Dogs -- referred to me by my dog's veterinarian -- which ensures their approval in the U.S. veterinary oral health field.

Highly Sedating and Tasty
The "Zen" variety of Veggiedents seem to be just as pleasing to my dog as the traditional variety she knows & definitely loves. Veggiedents have a tendency to get very hard once they've been opened so I put a piece of bread in the bag and it keeps them flexible! And 1 of these has enough L-Theanine that it made my pup just as chill as a dose of Trazadone seemingly. Got these hoping for an alternative to using an rx to semi sedate her during thunderstorms & the like. This may indeed be a substitute. But *CHECK WITH YOUR VET FIRST* as younger or older or dogs with health conditions may be too strongly affected by the active ingredient to the point that it could be dangerous to their health. Just because it's natural doesn't mean it can't hurt them.
