Great brush for curly hair short or long. I have been using this brush for years. I just replaced one I had been using for about 10 years so they can be long lasting. I clean it with a wide comb or hair pick or I use a finer comb to raise any hair caught in the brush up to the brush tips then gently pull the hair out of the brush. Brush tips are easier on the scalp.

I love these brushes and have used them for many years (at least 20). I've given many as gifts to my daughters and granddaughters. Both the large and small sizes work equally well. Love these!

My go to brush. I bought this as a replacement for a really really old one. Some of my bristles were starting to break and I couldn’t find one just like it. So glad Amazon had it. It looks nice and lasts a long time. It works great on my hair and doesn’t pull. It is easy to clean.

I bouught my first Phillips Light Touch 1 in 1998 and used it daily for 28 years until it finally cratered. I was thrilled to find that I could acquire a new one overnight! In my humble opinon, the greatest brush ever.

Gentle on my fragile hair and easy to hold.

I love this brush and have for years! I used to work in a salon (in the 90’s) that sold a ton of these, most clients and staff used it. It has become harder to find, the major distributors don’t carry them anymore. As a professional in the beauty industry I rarely pay full retail for products, but this is worth it to me. This is a really good choice if you have breakage concerns, a little stiffer than wet brush, but more flexible than most brushes of this style.

I would love to give this brush 5 stars, but the durability is lacking. My teen daughter has waist length hair and with regular, non-aggressive brushing, 2 have broken in her hair so far. As in, two this year. I keep buying them, even though I cringe at the price because they are the only brush we have found that will effectively detangle her 30+ inch long wavy hair. If you are trying to find a good brush for long, heavy, thick hair, give Phillips Light Touch a try. (If your hair is very long, don't bother with the purse sized one. That was a joke here!) We are so thankful to have found it! In the end, this is a case of Hair vs. Brush. It's a close match.

If you have a little girl then you're going to have to hide this brush from your wife because it is one of the best brushes out there. I remember when these brushes were running in the hundreds of dollars. Yes if there's knots in your hair it is going to pull but that's with any brush. However, My daughter when she was five had hair down to her butt and she loved her hair even with detangler spray she has very fine hair and I was a single father and yes guys. I spent an hour every night brushing that hair because she loved it . But when I finally found this brush, it cut the time in half and it will smooth the silk. Believe me, I did not want to spend 30 minutes brushing hair much less an hour, but it made her happy and that's what daddies do for their baby girls

Tengo años usando este tipo de cepillo. Tiene una vida útil de 2 a 3 años aproximadamente. Se le va cayendo las bolitas de las puntas de las cerdas pero aún asi yo lo utilizo. El que tengo actualmente tiene 3 años y le faltan mas de la mitad de las bolitas de las puntas. En lo personal, raspa un poco el cráneo pero para mí es como un masaje. Para mi tipo de cabello, largo y muy grueso es perfecto. Cepilla sin maltratar el cabello, aún sin las bolitas de las puntas. Es un buen cepillo para mi tipo de cabello.

Este cepillo ha sido una de mis mejores compras para el cuidado del cabello, también funciona muy bien para desenredar cabello sintético (con acondicionador). Cómprenlo, no se arrepentirán...vale cada centavo.

Mi a gusto me peino, las cerdas tiene una bolita en la punta que hace suave el peinado y se siente como un masaje. Me gusto!
