Great Brush
I have used these brushes for many many (40) years. The originals weee made in France. These are made in China. I did notice a slight drop in quality with the change in manufacturing locations but not enough to search for a new hair brush. I have long straight hair and this brush detangles easily and doesn't hut my scalp. They will eventually wear out as the little white knobs on the bristles will fall off. Still a great brush

These brushes are so good!
These brushes are amazingly good, I have been using them for years and always buy more to replace worn ones (that only happens after very long time, since they are quite durable ) or for giving to people I care for. They are gentle on the hair and on the scalp and look good in the bathroom.

Little girls and women love this
If you have a little girl then you're going to have to hide this brush from your wife because it is one of the best brushes out there. I remember when these brushes were running in the hundreds of dollars. Yes if there's knots in your hair it is going to pull but that's with any brush. However, My daughter when she was five had hair down to her butt and she loved her hair even with detangler spray she has very fine hair and I was a single father and yes guys. I spent an hour every night brushing that hair because she loved it . But when I finally found this brush, it cut the time in half and it will smooth the silk. Believe me, I did not want to spend 30 minutes brushing hair much less an hour, but it made her happy and that's what daddies do for their baby girls

Favorite Brush
I love this brush and have for years! I used to work in a salon (in the 90’s) that sold a ton of these, most clients and staff used it. It has become harder to find, the major distributors don’t carry them anymore. As a professional in the beauty industry I rarely pay full retail for products, but this is worth it to me. This is a really good choice if you have breakage concerns, a little stiffer than wet brush, but more flexible than most brushes of this style.

Good pain-reducing brush
I, a man, have recently grown out my hair to a longer length and have found a problem. My wife wants to brush my hair and it is as if someone is trying to tear out each individual hair from my scalp. After many flinches and being called a baby, I purchased this brush. 90% less snags. SOLD.

Soft Brushes and are great for someone with thinning hair
My Barber uses these brushes. When I told him that the other brush I was using was hard due to thinning hair, he suggested I buy these brushes. They are very soft and great for thinning hair.

First time Phillips brush
This the first time to purchase a Phillips brush. I am an old Scalpmaster fan and am looking for a replacement. I like the thought of finger grip placement. The bristle ball caps are substantial.Looks good so far....

Bought this instead of Mason Pearson
Had my sights on a much pricier brush but bought this one in a moment of financial clarity...good brush and feels great in my all one length super thick almost waist length hair. My hair is so thick I can only get a normal pony tail holder around it twice comfortably, three times if I'm willing to possibly break it trying. This brush rarely catches or snags and feels great on my scalp. Works much better if you keep excess build up of loose hair and lint cleaned out of it.I carried it with me in my purse for awhile and some of the bristles bent and I can't get them straightened out so I wouldn't recommend doing that. The handle has a great grip that feels comfortable to hold. Didn't give it 5 stars because I felt like the bristles shouldn't have bent so easily but that may be too high of an expectation for being in a purse with just sunglasses case and wallet? Wouldn't be an issue for someone who just leaves it at home on the vanity because the bristles don't show any wear or tear from just normal use and brushing. Good product and I'm very happy overall.
