The perfect Christmas fun wear

The advice on the sales page for this unisex jumper is that ladies should go a size smaller. This isn't my experience.For a relaxed, comfortable fit, I would stick with the sizings if you are female and go a size up if you are male. I am a ladies' size 16 and generally I find that a unisex medium jumper fits me quite well. This one is very slightly snug. It is quite short on the body on me, I'm 5'9'' -I will need to wear it with a longline T-shirt or vest underneath. I suspect the model is quite slightly built or is wearing a larger size.This is a thick, generally well-made, good quality acrylic jumper, not to be confused with the cheap jacquard style synthetic Christmas knits, it's a proper woolly pully.The multi-colours used mean that it's a much thicker jumper at the front and on the sleeves than it is at the back, as the coloured threads drawn across the back of the knit bulk it out.I quite liked the design, the grey and red baubles aren't too garish, in terms of bad taste Christmas jumpers, but it's not one you could wear at other times of year. I normally wash this type of acrylic jumper as I would wool, on a cool wash using Stardrops (which is great for washing woollens and delicates).

It's that time of year again! This NIZZIN Unisex Christmas Jumper is perfect for the festive season and is great to wear at your work Christmas meal or at home on the big day itself. It is 100% poly-acrylic which can be machine-washed cold (30° max) should it become covered in festive cheer. This jumper style is long-sleeved with a crew neck collar, and the design is Anemoon which one pattern from a range of festive themes by the Nizzin brand – the pattern is on the front only with the back being plain. Available in Small, Medium, Large and X Large the sizes are more like the traditional European size scale rather than the smaller Asian versions although they do tend towards the shorter side. Festive enough without being OTT.

- for the more conservatively dressed hard-to-buy-for family member: colourful but not to colourful, festive but not overboard and comfortable (if a little shorter than expected), and durable enough for a few Christmases.

This is most defintely a Christmas jumper. I think the chap wearing it in the photo looks embarassed! It appears to be well put together (good marks there) and it fits well. For the Christmas party at home or the office, it's perfect. At any other time of year, leave it in the wardrobe.
