Ok, put this up this past Saturday and couldn't be more impressed. I can attest that this is 100% stainless steel. We regularly get high wind gusts of 20mph or more. We have had multiple brackets ripped off the wall. I wanted to use heavier mounting hardware. I used 1/4 in ceramic coated screws. I had to use my drill press and ruined two drill bits even though I was using cutting oil! Excellent Material!

Can’t tell you how happy we are with this. You can’t find these brackets at any of the Home stores & if you really need it to replace the cheap plastic ones that are always breaking, we had to buy the whole pkg of flag (not even an American Flag 🇺🇸)& pole &crappy plastic bracket for $40! We found this on Amazon & promptly took the pkg back & ordered this bracket! Came way quicker than promised & it’s soooo sturdy, I think it will outlast us!

We’ve had several flag pole holders on our house in the past that all broke when we had high winds. Even the last one which was cast aluminum only lasted a year. We finally found one that should outlast the house. It’s 316 marine-grade stainless steel, polished to a bright chrome and very heavy-duty. It weighs over a pound and comes with 2” stainless steel screws. It costs mote than the others but at $38 (from Amazon) we’ll be saving money since we can now stop buying a new flag pole holder every year.

Beautiful Polished Stainless...and Rugged Pole Bracket. We have a lot of wind here...don't think a plastic bracket or stamped metal bracket would hold up. Yes expensive. Four is better than 3 which is why I bought this size bracket. Also it was available in stainless steel to match the 5' flag pole I bought to mount the flags. Most of the brackets on Amazon have 3 mounting holes but I wanted 4 to more securely attach bracket to brick side of house. I had a previous bracket pull out in high winds. The bracket comes with 4 plastic brick anchors and matching screws to mount onto brick. And 4 machines screws with nuts if mounted differently. To anchor to brick get a 5/16' masonry drill bit with hammer driver to get holes in brick.

Good quality, solid flag bracket. Hope it lasts. It should being stainless steel. I like it, worth the cost, better quality than cheap aluminum brackets. Don't think it will break like others have.UPDATE: this is rock solid, heavy and secures the flag pole well. SKIP the aluminum brackets. Had multiple and they snap eventually. Worth the extra cost.

claims to be made from stainless steel. We’ll see how it holds up over time with regards to corrosion, but I’m withholding judgment at this time.Definitely a solid piece, and heavy. The painted black looks very good, and the finish is fine. Wing nuts seems solid and sturdy, no plastic here.

This is a beautifully made holder that looks as strong as any marine cleat on an old sailboat. I was really impressed with its construction, and appears to be solid 316 stainless as claimed. It's also one of the few quality stainless holders with a 45 degree mount.
