7421 12 Inch Cast Iron Griddle for Weber Original Kettle 22 1/2

Fits my 4 burner charbroil grill perfectly. Very heavy and well made. Be careful when seasoning; just the smallest of oil is needed. This thing gets pretty hot quickly. I can get it up to over 500 F with no problem. Did smash burgers first thing and they only took about 2-3 minutes. Crispy and tasty! I recommend using avocado oil because of the high smoke point and neutral flavor. I can't stress enough how important it is to season this griddle properly. Look at some Youtube videos if unsure how to do this. I do not leave this on the grill after using it as carbon steel has a tendency to rust easily. Properly cared for, this griddle should last a long time.

Great griddle, thick and flat. Definitely worth buying as a pan too. It fits the largest size range on the electric stovetop so I use it for high heat cooking indoors when I'm not using it for grilling. Its heft and thickness means it doesn't warp like other pans do when putting on serious heat on the stovetop. I've had the whole surface smoking with oil several times in the past few years and it hasn't even warped once. It works great for searing meat and cooking fried eggs because of this. It's definitely got more cleaning effort than a pan, but not beyond what is expected of cast iron.

If you’re into smash burgers, this is it. The surface gets screaming hot and gives you that perfect crust. No warping, no peeling, just solid steel. After seasoning it properly, food releases easily. Way better than cheap coated griddles I’ve tried before. It fits my 4-burner gas grill perfectly and gives me so much cooking space.

This is a cast iron griddle for a Weber-shaped grill. I am using it with a hardwood charcoal fire and it works very well. My only issue is that it is heavy making it somewhat more awkward to carry hot into the house for cleaning. If any accumulated fat drips it can be a challenge to clean up. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Works very well and cleans up with hot water and a good scrub.

Works great, very little flame required to get great cooking heat on surface. Has not warped, doing well. Easy to clean after first use. Works great with my 3 Burner portable stove. I highly recommend over a stainless steel version.

Love It! Works Great! It's seasoning very easily. Great non-stick. Easy to clean except the overflow tray. It would be nice if it came with a tool to clean out the overflow. My husband rigged one up out of a piece of flexible molding. The grill is also quite heavy. Make sure your BBQ is very sturdy. We definitely love ours and have been using it.

I’ve used cast iron before, but this carbon steel griddle hits differently. It heats up fast and distributes heat evenly across the entire surface. No cold spots. I made smash burgers and breakfast for the family in one round. The 25” x 16” size is perfect for real meals, not just snacks. After a few uses, the seasoning is getting better and it’s becoming naturally non-stick. No chemical coating to worry about. Solid piece of steel.
