Yes, this mat can be trimmed. If you have any other questions, please send us an email to support (at) activegear (dot) co Have a great day and stay safe! **Q: Can I place dumbbells less that 20lbs on the mat or will it damage it?** A: You can place dumbbells less than 20lbs on the mat. The mat won't be damaged. I sit on the mat and I weigh 160 lbs. Leaves "depressions" in the mat from my weight but the mat returns to its original shape. It's made of rubber or a synthetic rubber. I love mine. **Q: Can this be placed on a plush carpet?** A: I’ve had mine on fairly plush carpet. There is a softer feel than when I have it on a hard surface. I expect it just depends on what you’re going to do on it. **Q: What are the shipped package dimensions and the total weight of the mat with the shipping box?** A: I no longer have my packing slip to answer your questions. However, I can tell you that the box in which mat arrived was proportioned to size of mat. Box was light, easy to handle and easy to break down for recycling. ## Frequently Bought Together - Large Yoga Mat 6'x4'x8mm Extra Thick, Durable, Eco-Friendly, Non-Slip & Odorless Barefoot Exercise and Premium Fitness Home Gym Flooring Mat by ActiveGear - Gaiam Yoga Block - Supportive Latex-Free Eva Foam - Soft Non-Slip Surface with Beveled Edges for Yoga, Pilates, Meditation - Yoga Accessories for Stability, Balance, Deepen Stretches - WRIST Buddy® Yoga Blocks 2 Pack | Reduces and Prevents Wrist Pain, Enhances Comfort Stability and Grip Strength on the Blocks | Hand-Shaped Blocks | EVA Yoga Accessories Set | Best Gifts for Yoga --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/244362452-large-yoga-mat-6x4x8mm-extra-thick-non-slip-black](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/244362452-large-yoga-mat-6x4x8mm-extra-thick-non-slip-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
