Works great
Not a fast charger but works well for AA and AAA batteries.I needed a charger that displayed the amount of power a battery was taking to charge it. This works well.. also can discharge a battery.. Sometimes my rechargable batteries report a fault on my other charger. Using this charger on discharge can fix that issue (not always ) but its handy to have a discharge optionDisplay will only show 1 batteries information at a time, so you have to cycle through each battery socket to get the relavent information. The charger is micro usb! WHY??? would be much better off with usb cPros• Useful LCD Display• Discharge optionCons• Need a power supply (USB)• Micro USB Interface• Only 1 battery display at a time• Slightly over priced 30-40% more than it should be• Only 4 slots• 2amp Charge (shared over 4 batteries)

Failed after less than a year
I was impressed with this at first, then there seemed to be a problem with intermittent connection with the USB port and now it has failed completely. Unfortunately it's too late to get a refund.

Battery charger with benefits
Lots of options, easy enough to use for those than want more control of their charging.

performed far beyond my expectation
The media could not be loaded. this is more than an ordinary battery charger, besides charging function, it also got discharge, test and cycle functions, this is the first time i used a battery charger with these functionsfirst of all, it’s compact and lightweight, its base is in turquoise colour, very special design that make it nice looking on desk top, also it got a lcd screen with backlight, for showing status/information of each battery very clearlythis charger is powered by usb, no mains and power adapter are required, i like devices that use usb, as i could use the usb charging hub on my desk rather than get a dedicated mains socket for itbasically, after inserted a battery to the slot, it will start charging, i could select the charging speed by changing the charging current (0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1a)when i need it charge faster, i could use the 1a current, but if i’m not in a hurry, i could use the 0.25a current, slow charging is always better for battery healthto prevent memory effect for ni-cd battery, there is an option to discharge the battery with this charger, i don’t have any ni-cd battery, and normally ni-mh battery does not require discharging, but for any reason, i could still use the discharge function to discharge a ni-mh battery, the discharge current is selectable from 0.25 to 0.5a, a battery could be fully discharged within 4 hours even its fully chargedi got some old batteries that couldn’t hold its charge and drain very quickly, i could use the battery test function to check the maximum capacity of them, eventually i found an old battery lost half of its original capacity, that’s why i could feel it used up very soon every timethe test function is very useful, however, it took ages to complete, over 12 hours for a battery, that’s very long time, so i probably will just use it only when i found another poor performance batterythe last function seems miracle, i haven’t tried it yet, it claims that it would repair an old battery and restore its capacity, from the user manual, the charger would charge and discharge it many times to repair the capacity, so i expect it may run for days, so probably i need to well prepared for it before start this job, would definitely update my review if i find anything worth to mentionlastly, i appreciate that the 4 battery slots are working independently, that means i could even do 4 different functions in 4 slots simultaneously, that’s amazingthis charger performed far beyond my expectation, i would highly recommend ithope you find these information helpful

I like it.
This battery recharging station is a decent bit of kit. Obviously first and foremost it will recharge your rechargeable batteries. Secondly you can use it to test how charged an individual battery is (If you needed to, I am guessing like me if your worried about it going dead you would just charge it anyway)It has an LED indicator to tell you when it's working or whether the battery is fully charged. So all in all it does everything you would expect at a very reasonable price.

Better than my EBL and Lloydtron chargers.
This charger is the best I have to date. It is far superior to my Lloydtron and EBL chargers.Forget the Lloydtron one as that is simply a basic, overheating, charger, I am going to compare this charger with my EBL. There are two negative points with this charger, compared to the EBL but both are irrelevant. The first is that my EBL has eight battery ports, for charging and this comes with four and the second point is that my EBL has two USB charging ports and this has none. However, this is a "charger" and those two points become irrelevant as it's the charging that counts. The first thing I like is that this charger has a luminous display and gives readings, whereas my other chragers only give lights to show dead, low charge and fully charged batteries. However, taking fully charged batteries from my EBL and placing them in this charger shows that the EBL does not fully charge, it only charges to around 80% capacity. The display on this charger can show the amount of power in the battery cell, the voltage, the ampage and the MAh.I highly recommend this charger as it is good quality and has shown that other chargers are simply not doing the job they are designed to do whilst the user believes they are. Getting an extra 20% of energy into a battery is a massive difference and means fully charged batteries that are charged with this unit will last around 20% longer before needing another charge. It definitely is good value.
