I followed the directions exactly as the box said to. Place face down in boiling water, remove, run under cold water then place in mouth. I had my son push up on the mouth tray for 2 minutes. It came out perfect. He's used it 1x so far at martial arts and no complaints.Thank you!

Works great and does its job,a little hard to talk but it’s okay

This fit my six year old well for jiu jitsu.

My daughter has been doing Jiu Jitsu for 7 years and now that she is over 10 they weights involved and forces involved necessitate a moth guard. It looks a bit small when it is new but once you boil it as per instructions is stretches to fit quite nicely. She loves the fact that it looks like a vicious animal.

My son stated that is was too hard. He prefers the more malleable mouth guards. But I do think this is a good product, just too hard for personal preference.

My son does Jiu-jitsu. We try a lot of mouth guards. Even returned a few became they just didn’t form right. Some make it hard to breath. Most were more money then these too. This is my second set. We use one for training & this one for the Pan Am because it has the flag on it. I will buy more as his adult teeth start coming in more. Just buy & try. Well worth the money.

I don’t often give feedback on Amazon but felt this gum shield deserved a mention.I originally bought one for my five year old to start karate but after a years use, teeth move, fall out etc so felt it was time to replace it. But before I got the chance she left it at the school which promptly binned it and I couldn’t remember the manufacturer of the GS so bought a different one, too big, hard to work with then bought another...Her karate school included an Xs small gym shield which was our last option but it too was terrible.No amount of patience made any difference to the gagging outcome and I just didn’t feel it was safe having needed gum shields for contact sports myself.So I bought another of these searching tirelessly through two years of orders but believe me for little mouths it was absolutely the best thing I’ve done.It moulds nicely with a slightly longer moulding timeframe, it’s easy to cut to length (I got her to buy on a square of kitchen paper I’d folded into quarter to bite on for a rough gauge) then round off the cut edging before redipping for the teeth indentation process.Highly recommend for five to seven probably older but she’s seven with a small bite.Hope this helps parents looking for durable chewable safe and reliable gum shields for their little ones.
