So I purchsed this unit and have been using it almost a week. I have to say I like it a lot and most likely will buy another. I am pregnant with twins and of course am achy and don't move well and I find showering with this unit allows me to use less energy by bending and twisting as I normally would with the regular shower head making sure the water is not just cascading down my belly but getting in the place where needed.I like the little blue lights and find it very soothing to come home after a 12 hour shift as a nurse and take a shower. I have a lot of lights in the bathroom and can turn those off and focus on the blue ambience. It is a small thing, but I think finding what ever you can do positve to destress should be done. I keep one light on in the opposite corner of the room for safety and havve not tried to use the shower in complete darkness. I have caught my husband doing it, so I guess he likes it.I like the 5 function feature and find myself changing it frequently just to try out different flows. Both the regular shower head and hand held have this feature and work great. I can't at this point find anyting wrong, I am even very happy with the price as I think even if I went to buy the more expensive ones, I do not think they would work better than this.Note: 8/2/2012Here is an update on the shower system. I still like it as far as getting clean, but I do have to say that it did start making this "clinging noise," or I guess you could say a shriek from the main shower head and that the main showerhead has stopped glowing blue. I have to say both things are annoying and I did think I would get a longer use out of this device based upon the amount of money I paid. The handheld does not make the noise and it still lights up, but I am wondering if it is planning to do the same thing very soon. Now, the next day, it did come back on, but started flickering and then went off again. We are in process of buying a home so I wanted to buy one for each bathroom, but right now I am kind of halted on buying another. Maybe I will get the one without LED lights, but I still cannot figure out where the noise is coming from.I will email the company and see if there is something I can do to fix this problem.

Just received the shower head today. It came promptly and was packaged well. I installed it right away and was really pleased with the performance. The different functions work very well and the water flow is strong. The instructions for installation are complete and I was happy to see they included instructions for cleaning the impellers should the LEDs ever cease to function. I've purchased products at box stores that cost more than this item and which had less functionality, so I am pleased with my purchase.I thought it might be helpful to others to share some thoughts I had about the installation:First, read the instructions carefully and follow each step in order. My product did not include thread tape, so you may need to make a run to the hardware store for a roll. Don't install it without the thread tape as you may well experience leaks at some point. Also be sure to thoroughly clean the threads on the shower arm after removing your existing shower head (I used a wire brush or you could use steel wool). Check the end for burrs before installing the new head. Mine had a nasty burr on the end and I needed to file it down. If I hadn't taken the time to do that, the new head wouldn't have seated well and I would most likely have had a leak.If the threads on the shower arm are damaged, replace it. Don't over-tighten the connections, but make sure they are snug. Do yourself a favor and wrap a washcloth around the fittings before grabbing them with a pliers. The fittings are rather soft and will get chewed up if you don't take that precaution. When applying the thread tape, don't overdo it. A turn or two is all that is necessary. All in all installation is easy and quick. It took me about 10 minutes from start to finish.I'm very happy with this purchase and I can't wait to show my grand-daughter the shower that lights up! She'll get a big kick out of it, I'm sure.
