GoldieBlox Watermelon Purse Building Kit, for Kids 8+, Flexible Construction Toy Kit, DIY Fashion STEM Activity

As a mother of three daughters, I am always looking for toys that will help develop their creative/scientific/design skills while also being fun and appealing enough for them to engage with. I decided to give this purse building kit a shot, and it absolutely hit the mark! In fact, after buying it in one color/design scheme, I ended up buying the other two as well. My girls were so invested in making the purses, then as a payoff, they are now obsessed with wearing the purses that they made! The kit says 8+, and I would say that in that age range a kid could do this project alone. With my 5 year old, she needed some parental assistance (understandably), but she still loved it and it was a super fun joint activity for us to do together! No reservations recommending this in all the designs; I plan to try more from this line.

I bought this for my niece and she LOVED it! I was finally able to drag her away from the screens/iPad without a fuss! It was something fun for her and I to do together as a little art project and the final product is super cute. She’s been carrying the purse around the house non stop putting little things inside it and demands we let her take it everywhere! She loves it! Super happy with this purchase and will be purchasing more toys from goldiblox in the future!!(Oh and the packaging was absolutely adorable too)

Love this product! I nanny a 9 year old girl who is into legos and gave her this product and she loved it! She was able to use her creative skills in designing her purse while developing engineering skills when constructing it. She’s so proud of it and I was amazed to see that it actually holds together and doesn’t fall apart. She’s actually using it to hold her lip gloss and Knick knacks and showing it off. A must buy!

My 10 yo daughter loved making this and showed off the finished product to all of her girlfriends on zoom. Love that it incorporates building something on her own and the finished product is very cute and functional. She's currently using it as a purse to hold her chopsticks and trinkets.I think someone as young as 7 would also enjoy making this purse. Great Christmas gift idea!

Love how creative this gift is! My daughter hasn’t actually put it together yet but I love that she is learning that she is not too young to be able to create her own fashion.

The pieces are tiny and this project is extremely tedious. The pictures show a pencil case as an option. My daughter was so excited to build the pencil box. There are no instructions for this. She loves the major building brick brand. She was very disappointed!The blocks seem sturdy, but the rubber connector pieces are tiny. Not something I would purchase again.
