Unfortunately, condenser mics don't play well with PTT buttons: the surge of phantom power when you press and release the button makes a loud pop. Even PTT buttons designed to work with condenser mics have the problem. The solution: put this power supply between the mic and the PTT. No more power surge, no more pop. No need for the mixer to provide phantom power - as far as the mixer is concerned, you're using a dynamic mic, but with the great sound reproduction a condenser mic delivers.
