Most of our music collection is on CD and that's a problem with a newer car that didn't come with a CD player. So we'd been looking for something small that would connect easily to our car entertainment system.This works perfectly. Just turn it on, press the TX button to start the FM transmitter and tune into the frequency on the car radio. It worked on the first frequency we tried (88.1).It isn't top of the range hi-fi equipment but sound quality is good and there are a few graphic equaliser options (rock, jazz, classical, pop, extra bass and flat).The output in terms of volume is a bit lower than most radio stations, so you do have to turn the sound up quite high on the radio (something to remember if you decide to change station) but that's easy to get used to.All in all, particularly for the price, this is a great little CD player. It can also be used with headphones as a good old-fashioned 'walkman', although the included ear buds won't suit everyone (I find that they just fall out but that's the case with pretty much all ear buds for me) and it can be connected via the included cable with any external speaker that has a standard input for a 3.5mm jack.Definitely a good buy.

Its a good cd player, very stable in the car, but: too much background noise when used on FM feature, not to difficult to get to work, have to have it on a very loud setting. Seems very reliable on the normal cd player mode.

Bought as a gift for xmas

The control markers are quite small and not easy to see. They light up when pressed but do not show up when you need to know where they are. The manual is not very informative.

Doea what it says on the tin. I can now listen to my CDs in the car. Sound quality adequate - some background noise on playback. Easy to connect player to car radio following the instructions provided. A cheap and cheerful way to play CDs in the car if your car has no audio input jack to connect to.

Bought this to use in my van (no cd player), does the job, connects to my DAB radio on FM frequency, only slight moan is volume control, when you pause or stop to change cd, the volume drops to default volume, so unless you put radio volume up high, you have to keep adjusting the cd player volume. This aside though, I like it very much, and can re-listen to all my old cd's.
