Great tool.
With the introduction of the electric brake and limited replacement caliper supply, this tool is a life savor. The caliper piston on this system is electric and hydraulic operated. As a result, the piston tends to bind. This tool allowed me to rebuild and reseal my rear brake calipers on a 2021 rav 4. First reline 40,000 miles. This system is a maintenance issue to consider. Rebuild kit has a o- ring piston bore seal and a boot seal. Having a seal install tool helped for the boot seal. This piston rotates for the electric parking brake . It must be off before you start. A jack screw is under the piston. Don’t compress the piston. Bleed it then rotate it to get new pad install clearance. if tight when rotating the piston you better reman the calipers. Most pistons have slots to aid in piston rotating. My car didn’t have slots. A rag in channel locks worked . God bless Toyota. I have the e brake controller. This only partially backed off the parking brake due to the dual system on this caliper. Hydraulic/ electric. , Good luck. Mine worked iout well. It’s a two grand reline if you need rear calipers.

Great tool for the price.
I had a great experience with this hone. It's not super-high quality but it's well enough built for the price. I do pwc repair professionally; the cylinder I used it on was an 82mm 2 stroke and this hone worked perfectly. It had plenty of outward pressure and the stones are long enough to cover the exhaust and transfer ports so the edges don't catch. A lot of people said the stones broke when they used this hone so I was careful and I had absolutely no trouble. Looking forward to many more uses.

Used for honing cylinders on 351w
I used this for a Ford V8 engine. I plan on installing simple cast iron rings, which require a rougher grit honing. This tool is perfect for that. If you are planning to install moly rings, this is not the tool for you. You will need something finer grit.Word of caution... you have to be very careful not to stick it too far into the engine or it will come out into the block where the stones will hit the engine casting and chip or break. They are easy to chip or break this way. Just be sure to get a good feel for the depth, speed, etc. and it will work great.Anyhow, the tool is pretty sturdy. It works like it should. After a short test run I found the right settings to get a perfect 30 degree cross-hatch on my engine cylinder bores.

Won't fit 3/4 inch bore!
Needed to hone a bushing that has an id slightly larger than 3/4 inch. The hone would not fit into the bushing. Might work ok in bores 1 inch or greater id.Mfg needs to modify description or redesign hone.

Worked for my needs.
I bought this hone to fix one of my Maglite flashlights that suffered the results of a leaky battery. I keep a three cell Maglite in each of my two vehicles and have added the LED bulb to them for increased illumination. I'm beginning to lose faith in many battery manufacturers because they all seem to leak any more. Any attempt to be compensated for a new flashlight due to their faulty product is usually met with a "too bad, we can replace the batteries but that's it." I caught this in time so that minimal damage was done but pitted the interior of the tube. I'd thought about using a hone before but never did so this time I decided it was time to do just that. I wiped out the inside to remove any residue then put the hone in my drill and worked it in and out until I felt good about the job. There is still some pitting but for the most part, the light has been restored to a usable condition. In other words, it works! I have run across other things that I would have liked having this hone to smooth out the interior of a tube before so now I have one. I have another flashlight that I want to use it on but I hope I don't have to use it on any more of my Maglites. I'm sure that this hone will work if I have to work over any cylinders on engines too but I hate working on that sort of thing so maybe not. Otherwise, I found this to be a very durable and useful tool.

U-Joints
I damaged the receiving hole for new u-joints in my axle an needed a fix. This item trued up the hole removing the rolled over damaged metal, worked perfectly. Be careful, removes material quickly, I counted 15 seconds per hole to true up the bore on my axle shaft. If you use it to true up a hole I'd suggest 15 seconds run time then check bore. If still not true, run another 15 seconds, on an on, till bore is dressed.
