Fantastic blue!
I over ordered some of these but love them so much I just may keep them! They sure do add great color to our grey days up here in PNW. I got the Coral Beach and they are the perfect blue! Delightful! Hope they restock the other pieces! They care very unusual and lovely.

Somewhat disappointing but still nice bowls.
In person, the color of blue is very different from the color shown in the photos. I was also disappointed to find several places where there were imperfections in the glaze. Nonetheless, these are still very pretty and unique-looking bowls, and they seem to be very sturdy, but not too heavy. I have ordered from this brand before, and the quality of the other items was much better, so I'm going to take this as a fluke and not indicative of the brand or its product line as a whole.

Great quality
The color is phenomenal. The first set arrived broken but they were quick to replace within a week. The packing is lacking between the bowls.

High quality bowls; hand-made so each piece is unique, beautiful speckled blue glaze...
These are beautiful bowls with the individual variation I would expect from hand-made ceramic pieces. I have quite a few plates, bowls and platters in various colors and styles from roro, and I have been very happy with the quality and durability of the brand. These bowls are an excellent addition to my collection and I love the color and design. They are a good weight and thickness so they feel sturdy without being too heavy. The bowls are more or less round in shape with unevenly scalloped rims which I think looks absolutely charming. The sides of the bowl are of uniform thickness and smoothly finished inside and out (not always the case). The reactive glaze has been expertly applied for a striking speckled look. The bottom of the bowl is left unglazed. The color of the glaze is a rich aqua blue with darker cobalt blue highlights. The bowls are the perfect size for cereal, salad and pasta -- they are a little larger than the 7" in diameter mentioned in the product description (closer to 8" but I am definitely not complaining!) and at about 2 1/2" deep are fairly shallow, but they hold quite a bit. I filled the bowls with water to within 1/2" of the lowest part of the rim and measured the volume -- each bowl holds about 3 1/2 cups (if I filled them all the way to the rim, the bowls would easily hold 4 cups). They look wonderful on my table and are fun to mix and match with my other dinnerware. The bowls were wrapped in plenty of bubble-wrap and packaged in a sturdy box to prevent damage during shipment so they arrived in perfect condition. The current price of $22.74 seems reasonable.

Both have big flaws where ceramic is bare
They both have bare unglazed spots plus the bottoms are unglazed. One has bare unpainted spots on inside of bowl. Also almost the entire rim is bare. And it has bare spots on bottom. The other has large flaw on outer edge. These type of flaws render them unusable for food. And not suitable to display either.

Intended irregularity is beautiful, but careless irregularity is not
When it comes to design, I love asymmetry and delightful irregularity that make items unique and beautiful, and that's what I expected from these two bowls. Unfortunately, each has a particular flaw that clearly was unintended: one bowl has a weird, oval protrusion near the lip that, though blue, has a rough, un-glazed texture (as if it had been lopped off a larger piece of clay), and the other bowl has a single drip of dark blue glaze going from lip to base on the exterior, which is clearly the result of sloppiness and not part of the overall aesthetic. I had to laugh at the enclosed card that said the bowls were held to the "highest standard" because clearly they were not. As for functionality, the bowls are a bit smaller than I expected. Otherwise, they are fine. I will use them for me, but I definitely will not use them for guests.

Nice size and handmade
I love these bowls! They are so pretty and unique, and they look great on my kitchen table. They are also very well-made and durable. I have been using them for several months now, and they still look brand new.The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because they are a bit smaller than I expected. They are perfect for pasta or cereal, but they are not large enough for a big salad.Overall, I highly recommend these bowls. They are beautiful, well-made, and perfect for everyday use. Here are some of the pros and cons of roro Ceramic Stoneware Hand-Molded Speckled Spotted Low or Pasta Bowl set of 2, Coral Beach Blue:Pros:BeautifulWell-madePerfect for everyday useCons:A bit smaller than expectedNot large enough for a big salad
