Q: Can I use this horizontally ?

I don’t think it would work horizontally. Each “shelf” is angled downward so bottles do not slide out or drip too much.

Q: Each 5 gallon bottle weighs 50# because of the weight of the glass plus 42.5# water. Is the 3 tier unit sturdy enough?

Todays jugs are typically made of hard plastic. The stand is well built and sturdy. I use it regularly for these 'plastic' 5 Gallon jugs and doubt it would be a problem if glass.

Q: I am using bottles I refilled, can anyone recommend good caps that won’t leak while being stored in this?

The place we refill our bottles offer two different caps, white ones and blue ones. We found the blue caps don't leak. I hope this helps.

Q: I need a replacement "C" piece as the holes for screws don't line up. How do i get in touch with the manufacturer for av replacement piece?

I found that swapping a piece or turning a piece made all the difference. NO WAY can you use diagram with lettered packs. I laid all out on floor as one video suggested and when I began to assemble holes didn't align. Looked and there is actually a right and left set of pieces. Once we had determined which went where it became relatively easy. Most important thing is we pitched the instructions. Letters were wrong from step one. good luck.
