My favorite book of the Kanti Cycle trilogy
This is one of those books you don't want to put down. I really felt invested in Kanti's journey throughout the whole book, he's just that well written of a character.

A spaceman’s odyssey in an alien world
It was a good read, and a good end for a trilogy about an everyman space alien on an odyssey to make it back home to his mate. I like that he has to learn to cope and preserve in the face of a hopeless situation, it builds a strength of character that a non typical heroic protagonist needs. The pay off was satisfying, and the antagonists are despicable, yet given humanizing moments (moments a one eared tailhole doesn’t deserve imo) which goes to show that rarely is anyone wholly good or evil, there’s more or less of both in everyone. And watching Kanti’s humanitarian efforts to help those being exploited in a hostile and unforgiving world where culture shock becomes the norm is inspiring, if a bit naive at times. It evokes the good will that naturally springs up in people when they empathize with others in a worst case scenario. People come together to help each other. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. Gre7g is good at writing likable, lovable, loath-able, thoughtful, and easy to empathize with characters. I would highly suggest his other works if for some reason this is your first book of his.

Couldn't stop reading it
I genuinely loved this book. I thought the last book was great and this builds on some of my favourite parts. There's a lot of new environments, cultures, and races. It's well-paced and the plot wraps up nicely.
