Sillbird Solar Building Robot Kit 12-in-1 STEM Gift for Boys Ages 8-13

My daughter absolutely loved this building robot kit! She had a lot of fun putting the different robots together and enjoyed seeing them actually move using solar power. It’s a great combination of building, problem-solving, and STEM learning without feeling like a typical educational toy. The 12-in-1 design gives her plenty of different projects to work on, and she liked being able to take one apart and build another. The instructions were easy enough for her to follow with a little help when needed. Overall, this is a fun and educational kit that kept my daughter entertained and engaged. I think it would make a great gift for kids who enjoy building and experimenting.

These were so fun! I purchased them for a children's Christmas party sponsored by a community group I work with. The kids absolutely loved these. So much so, that I will be buying more for this year's party.

Need strong sunlight directly on solar panel to operate the robot.. it doesn't work in shadow or internal lights in house.

Grandson's birthday gift. He seemed to love it. I haven't seen it put together and working but I'll ask him and if anything changes, I'll update my review.

Got as a gift for my grandson. He loves building things and getting to see this work was a plus. BUT, it takes an awful lot of light to make it actually work! It's not very strong at all so I am highly disappointed, as was he when he couldn't get it to work by putting it in the sun coming through the window. I expected this to be strong enough to function in the sun. It'll move while holding it in the sun, but will not move across the linoleum floor, the weight of the toy itself seems to bog it down. Not great in that aspect, but he still likes to build them.

It was sent to my grandson for his birthday so I never actually saw it but I was told he loved it.

Really a mind blowing craft toy for children above 9y. It uses solar energy power for the motor that inspire children to use alternate energy sources.Each of the 12 models generate creative technical minds for children and expose them to the robotic technology to reduce human effort.

The idea behind this is great, but the quality is not great. The gears don't fit well together, which means it doesn't always work. A lot of slack in the parts means it doesn't really fit well together.

Probably a good entry for building like Lego and robot science project

Got this for our grandson who was 9 at time, he absolutely loves it. Needed a tiny bit of help at first but finished it off on his own. And he’s proud of himself for that! I recommend it for people who’s kids like to build!!
