I appreciated that this is the original Robertshaw part that is used by the dishwasher manufacturer (Kitchen Aid, in my case). This is not a third party knock-off. It really is OEM despite being so inexpensive. It fit like a glove with one nuance. The connector for the wire harness on my original valve was light grey in color and this valve's connector is black. I didn't think much of this difference until I realized that the color of the connector distinguishes the keying of the connector. This meant that my wire wouldn't reconnect to this new valve with the black connector. I ended up getting around this by swapping the grey connector body from the old valve onto this new valve and that made it work perfectly. So, the lesson here is to make sure you get the right valve for your dishwasher and pay attention to simple things like differences in the color of the connector. It matters!Overall, I decided on 4 stars because the description says it fits KDP washers when it fact it was not a perfect fit out of the box, given the connector mismatch mentioned. For reference, I was fixing a KitchenAid KDPM604KPS0 dishwasher.

The label shows this is a Robertshaw part who is the OEM for the same Whirlpool factory part but at a much lower price. Easy to install from front of dishwasher and was an exact replacement part. Stopped my overfilling problem and finding water pooled in the bottom of the dishwasher in the morning.

Was exact fit for my 2009 Kitchen Aid dishwasher.

It was very easy to install, sadly it didn't fix the problem. Back to the drawing board lol!

Got our dishwasher running like new again. Great value for the money. A bit of a pain but not terrible to install.
