Love these!
I bought these to use for wade fishing. I wanted something that came up a bit higher than standard water shoes. These are awesome! I am so happy I bought them. They were super easy to get on - good zipper, with a nice, extended opening, so you can get your foot in and out with ease! Then they zip up super quick and they have a Velcro tab that will prevent the zipper from coming unzipped until you are ready to remove them. They fit great! The recommended sizing was perfect. I am female, and they recommended one size down from your normal size, which was just right for me. Note - they are not waterproof, as far as hugging your ankle or anything if worn alone (no wetsuit), as I am doing. But, for my purpose, I do not care. I wanted to keep sand and such out of my shoes, and these do that well. With regular water shoes, I always had sand in my shoes. With these, I do not, and my feet/ankles are protected. They are comfortable and easy to walk in, both in and out of the water. I am very pleased with these, and they are now my standard footwear for wade fishing.

Handled everything I asked of them!
Exactly what I was hoping for. I needed a pair of shoes for a couple weeks of field work in the marshes of Louisiana, and I don't think I could have asked for something better than these. They successfully (1) stayed on my feet, even when walking knee-deep in mud, (2) were comfortable in and out of the water, (3) had good traction on the boat, and (4) dried completely by the next day for use again. Will be strongly recommending these to my colleagues. Other details: I typically wear an 11.5 shoe, and I rounded down to an 11 to make sure they wouldn't slide off my feet (I actually returned a pair of the 12's just to be sure), and I think that was probably the right size. The toe-box felt a bit small the first couple times I wore 'em, but I either broke them in or just got used to it, because that stopped bothering me after day 2. I bought the 5mm for durability, and even in August in Louisiana they weren't too warm (granted, they were usually wet, which helps). I almost always wore them with some of those lycra diving socks (the Bren SL ones, also on Amazon), which I think increased the comfort a lot, so I recommend others do the same if their application is similar. My only other pro-tip would be to keep a pair of flip-flops with you. These dry quickly, but not *that* quickly, so it was nice to have some extra faster-drying shoes for the boat/drive back home.

Well Made, Durable, Comfortable and Warm! Perfect!
We have had the opportunity to use these boots a couple of times now and we are very impressed. They are well made, durable, comfortable, protect your feet in the water, beach, and pavement back to the car. We used them the other day in the pool. While in the pool I pulled one of them off and was extremely surprised at the temperature difference! It was at least a 10-degree difference! They definitely keep your feet warm! One of the reviews I read before purchasing these boots stated that they are a bit snug when dry but once wet will stretch to fit comfortably. This is completely spot on. If you are looking for a good pair of neoprene boots we highly recommend these!!

Good wading booties
I regularly fish the Laguna Madre and the surf in Corpus Christi. I usually wade in old tennis shoes but I got tired of getting shell and sand inside my shoes every trip. These Neoprene booties have solved this problem and more with the zipper up the side and tight (but not too tight) fitting along the top. I usually wear an 11 shoe and decided to get the 12 in these, they are a little bit big on me, but not enough to warrant a return. They have held up well on oyster beds in the Laguna and have also blocked the pesky blue crab claws snapping at my toes in the surf. 4 stars because water definitely gets inside these shoes so I had to dump them out occasionally while sitting on the beach in order to let my feet dry for a bit between casts. They are working well for what I use them for, fairly light weight and comfortable, rubber sole has good grip as well. Oh, and the Velcro strap that holds the zipper up on the side is a great feature!

The Best! Not only for Scuba!
I got these because in the Summer I am interested in obtaining my scuba diving license, and I thought why not just buy these a little ahead of schedule. When these came in the mail I was not sure what to think of them since I have never bought wetsuit shoes before. So I decided to take them on a test run when I went camping on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Our campsite was located on this lagoon and myself and a couple of friends went out in the water at night to catch some shrimp. ...... I cannot believe how much I loved these shoes. They kept my feet warm, they protected my feet from stepping on shells, they gave me a great sense of security while walking through the water. Mind you, it was at night so we couldn't see anything. Meanwhile, my friends are walking at half the pace I am, jumping and screaming trying to avoid stepping on shells or creatures of the dark. These are such a great pair of shoes, honestly if you don't even scuba dive, you should have these just as a good pair of water shoes. The price is very well set, I would honestly pay probably $60 for these and Amazon has them around $35.

Wish I bought years ago
Each year, I help a friend & his family with putting in aluminum docks, boat lift, and swim platform in Lake Winnepesaukee in NH - usually a couple weeks after ice out. Each year, 4-6 of us freeze our a**'s off in 40-55 degree water, trying to manipulate connectors, bolts, etc. Each year, we each donned a wet suit - one designed for diving in moderate waters. This year when I saw the lake was still completely covered in ice on April 9th, I had enough - bought my own heavy wet suit, boots, and gloves. Best investment for this trip ever! Even with late ice out this year, I was perfectly content to remain in the water while others froze! These ARE still wet suit material, you can't go hiking in these and expect them to last. Decent grip, zippers are heavy duty, and they fit true to size. If walking around (not diving), I'd suggest wearing Teva's or some sandals over them to protect the soles. Great insulating power.

The boots came super quick. Fit perfectly and I have pretty wide feet. Used them 4 days already and can't believe how dry you stay. Way better than some of the other neoprene booties out there. just buy!

Quality very good. Better than expected. Rigth size. My feet feels comfortable. It serves for rocky soil.
